Let's see...

Europe? Europe is trying to cut their way to prosperity. It's not working. The continent is in a depression. The Euro failed.

China? The real estate bubble cannot go forever. Inflation is raging, counteracting the effects of Chinese currency manipulation. Look for a Chinese financial crisis in 3... 2...

America? The economy is recovering briskly now. Violent crime and teen births have dropped sharply in recent decades. The country is not run by idiots at the moment. America has problems, sure, but I would rather be a median American than a median Chinese or European in 2012.

(When Bush was in office, I would have gone for median European.)

Pfft.. Many Americans make the error of seeing Europe as a largely homogeneous entity. It's not. There are huge differences between north and south and between east and west, both in culture and in political and economical systems.
The north-western countries: such as Sweden (where I live), Norway and Denmark are doing great, but then none of them have the Euro.

Greece, in the south-east, has the problems it has because it has very much a corrupt, backwards system and they have refused to reform into a modern country. Italy is also getting worse, but is not even at the same magnitude.

Findecanor is right. Funny thing with Italy is that it used to be like they had two different economies - a strong one in the North but weak in the South. Unfortunately corruption has taken it's toll.

Yeah, and even in Italy you can see the north/south divide, with the north of Italy being fairly industrious, similarly to Germany, whilst the south are a bunch of backwards goat farmers/Cosa Nostra.

Their destruction isn't imminent, but OK is bit far for some. If either US or Eurozone goes wrong everyone else will too. And I belive it will go wrong, the current system isn't sustainable without reboot or remake...

The Dollar and the Euro will both be fine, of course. The Eurozone is going to become much more centralised and controlled after the Greece fiasco though.

Yeah, Scotland is already semi-autonomous, which is why the recession (well not technically a recession anymore, but whatever) affecting the UK is pretty much non-existent here. And... the Wright Brothers were not even the first to do a powered flight. The first was made by German-born Gustav Weisskopf. He emigrated to the USA in 1893 and changed his name to Whitehead ("Weisskopf" means literally "white head"). Evidence of his flights exist from 1901, but he may have been flying as early as 1897.
However, Whitehead did not use rudders to steer and could only fly onwards and not compensate course for wind shear. The Wright Brothers were the first to achieve controlled flight a few years later.

As everyone who has access to Google knows: the Wright brothers were from Dayton, Ohio, and moved their flight experiments to the outer banks of North Carolina for the steady wind known to be prevalent at that location. Furthermore, if the people of the great city of Chicago were not so meek, they might assert a claim to being "first-in-flight", since the first hang glider was flown by two men from Chicago on the shores of Lake Michigan, in what is now the city of Gary, Indiana. Those early hang-gliders were designed by Octave Chanute and flown by Augustus Herring and William Avery in 1896 and 1897 (all Chicago residents at the time). I was never very good at math, but I think that's about 3-4 years before the Wright brothers made their first successful flight in Kitty Hawk, NC in 1900.

President Obama does not vacation in the Hamptons. He went to Martha's Vineyard last year. Which is a different place, and is located in a different state. They are not the same place, is what I'm trying to say. I don't know how else I can say it. Not the Hamptons.
