Paid, thanks for running this!

And, I fail to remember, did we fill out the address in the order form? I assume we did, since the invoice didn't mention it, but I better make sure :#

Yep, shipping address was part of the order form.

Dunno for sure, but I would expect them to.  I think Rag mentioned that SP had adjusted their molds or something?

Yup, every single set of modifiers I've received from SP (quite a few, btw) have fit loosely on my Filcos. Honestly, I think it's the Costar stabilizers more than the keys themselves...I don't remember having this problem (at least not this bad) with my Leopold while I had it.

Stabilized SP keys fit nice and snug on my Leo.  I think the looseness got worse with Rag's red set though.  Some people were complaining about mount alignment problems too.

Payment sent.  Can't wait to get these on my Filco. :playball:

Anybody know if these big modifiers fit loosely like Ragnarock Group buy?

Had the same issue with some of the SP RGB keys. Actually ad the same issue with cherry's too but that may just be because they were old. Although they shouldn't get worn there unless they were switched often.

I had a SP backspace key that was loose and rattled.  Several fixes described in here by ripster and clickclack: http://geekhack.org/showthread.php?28632-Tighten-fit-on-MX-caps

I used the scotch tape method and it works flawlessly.

You send it as "gift" by choosing "Other" and then paying for the fees. Or at least that's the only way I know of sending anything as "gift".

The arrowhead on the prototype looks to be smaller than the one on Cherry double-shots. Is this how it was intended?

Nope, it was intended to be as close as possible.  It'll be clearer what's different and what's correctable when I have the key.

[Off topic] I cannot run a GB so I won't make an interest check. But I want these WASD sets so much. hashbaz or somebody else please run a GB on this. I think I'm not the only one like these WASD sets. I know you can always find a DS WASD set out there, but in this kind of color, it's nearly hopeless.

Actually the cyan with the non-centered legends doesn't clash too bad with white on black Cherry DS

0.015".  Melissa said anything bigger than that was too big for the 'e'.

The width of the lines that make up the letters on the key.  The "Enter" lines are 0.015" and the arrow is 0.018".

In order to get the arrow exactly right, you're going to have to treat the 'pointer' section as you would one of the windows-logo-panes.  I don't see this working with our traditional single-line approach and get that fullness it has.  Melissa just had me send her an outline of the windows logo shapes (not center lines), and they handled it from there.  Let me know if what I just said makes no sense at all... :)

Unless it's just supposed to be 'good enough' - which is fine too I suppose.

It'll be good to finally see this elusive 0.018" cutter, assuming of course that it really is 0.018"!!  :mad2:

Yeah I'm following you I think.  You're saying the pointer needs to be done as an outline instead of centerline like the letters.  I'll ask if that's a possibility, last I heard is that using two cutters for a contiguous legended area was no longer doable (despite the fact that she did it for you for moogle2 :mad2:).

Hopefully the prototype will be in my mailbox tomorrow and I'll post some better pictures alongside Cherry keys.

The envelope with the prototype Enter key arrived today .... without the prototype.

The envelope shows signs of tampering, and there is a slit cut in the bottom of the plastic baggie inside.  Pretty sure that spells shenanigans from a postal employee or something.

I've emailed Melissa about it, we'll see what she says.
