Got my CODE this morning - not quite in the mail as I went and picked it up but...

Put some nice caps on it... although I'm going to need to sort out the Retro DSA stabilizer keys as they're not tight enough to be doing their job properly.

Very nice!

How are you liking the CODE? I was dead set on getting one, but then the 60% bug caught me!

Really enjoying both so far

HE-400s - First impression on these is definitely the weight, they are heavy as hell (In a Model M vs a rubber dome sorta way).
I'm pushing them with a T1 and I'm not sure how well they are supposed to work together but I don't anticipate buying any more amp stuff anytime soon. I should definitely finish building my O2... As far as sound quality goes they seem great, I'm still working on finding a good reference track so I can do some A-B-C comparison with Grados, HD600s and these.

L-Trac X is great, but expensive. I've been holding out on getting a deal on one of these for a while. I've managed to amass a small track ball collection in the meantime. It compares favorably to them but I'm still used to the Slimblade which has an entirely different style of scrolling. I might even post a review once I acclimate to it a little more.

I will look forward to that L-Trac X review! I've only heard good things about it but I"m with you in that I think the Slimblade's scrolling mechanics is just perfect. I'd have a really hard time breaking away from it.

L trac x is the higher dpi version right?

That and the extra inputs, right?

I think they look really high quality and of high use to tkl users and all, but the self implied rarity or scarcity is kinda stupid  :))

at no point do i think they are cool because they are 'rare'...anyone going after one for that purpose is..well..sad  :))

oo didn't know they were rare, just out of stock. If anything, I thought everyone but me was getting one :)) I would like an affordable case but there are none out there right now. At $26+shipping, well, that's super appealing (assuming it has good padding) :D

White PCBs are sooooo tasty looking. I wish someone (decent, and on the intel side) would release white PCB motherboard again. It's been a long time since Sapphire Pure in 2005 and can't think of anything newer than those.

Oh yeah. Back in the days when building computers was the ****. I always loved my old Pure, but I also liked the DFI lanparty boards, especially the one with orange instead of yellow.  :p

Man, that's an awesome set up. I used to have my Acer 22' vertical but then it broke and the temporary Dell 19' doesn't have a stand that allows it to be placed vertically :( I need to hurry up and get the Acer fixed or replaced to have a vertical monitor.

Got the $40 MSi board with Reds and the mousepad in today. The board is pretty decent for $40, quite solid though the case is a bit big. Mousepad is decent but it doesn't have the woven edges like the Goliathus does that prevents the edge from fraying, which I really hate.

This thing is really great. Much higher quality than expected. The outside of the case is relatively hard and it fits two TKL/75%/60% boards perfectly. The colors are nice, the fabric stitching seems great. And it fits in my hand very nicely. Happy I got it.
