A little something from Nubbinator.  For those on the fence about getting one of these, I say do it.  This thing feels wonderful.

I didn't get all of these today, but I was holding back since I was waiting for a very special cap to come in the mail. Got my BoW Vortex set, which came with an awesome throw in grenade by techkeys. Turns out it came with two Pg Dn keys, and I actually got the replacement from them today, but it turned out to be another Pg Dn key LOL. Last but not least, I got my white moose M cherry profile Binge cap, after some delays in customs. Anyway! Onto the keyboard!

Good to see it made it to you and glad you like it.  Thanks for that endorsement too.  Now only if the Black Palm and Verawood ones would sell.

I got about $300 of brewing supplies in the mail, and close to another $200 coming tomorrow and Friday. This weekend is going to be fun brewing an IPA and a cream ale. Not sure how I'll drink 10 gallons of beer, but I'm open to sharing.

If people think pictures of carboys, bungs, hop pellets, barley, and other brew gear looks exciting I'll post some.

I'll do some more investigating later, but I'm thinking they are fairly thin, pad printed. I'm wondering about this board because it looks brand new. I dunno, Ill do something with it.

The oddest part of this is I paid extra to get evening fedex delivery because otherwise no one is home and one of the fedex guys brought it buy in his personal vehicle on his way home. We had a 10 minutes chat about how stupid fedex is hahaha.

Nice :)

Now you just need another 86 or so and you can make a Topre keyboard ;)
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

The Hakko 808 came in yesterday, spent all evening creating little cylinders of used solder.   :p

Also got a lot of components from Digikey, I'm really running out of excuses for not building my first ErgoDox.  Got two more Televideo keyboards (Futuba linear switches FTW!) to add to my ever-growing pile of project keyboards, and some non-MX compatible Rhino Robotics keyboards.  Ebay is not my friend.

It is a pretty rough surface. I don't really mind since I'll be replacing the keycaps on it anyway. Other than that, it's really well built, in my opinion.
