Now just waiting on the Dolch set

Is that a grey or black Leopold key pad?

Got my Cloud 9 stuff in the mail today :)

Show Image

It's black, but the surface is rubber coated like the QFR, so there is a slight glare. I wish they stopped doing that.

Sad indeed. But Fnatic will surely lose to Royal Club in the semifinals. Royal Club all the way, gotta support my brethren :)

I don't know if protect the uzi will work vs skt t1 or najin sword.  I wanna say it will be skt t1 vs royal for finals but i think skt t1 will win.

But with the weather getting cooler I've been wearing my clg hoodie a lot :D.  Now I have to wait for my black clg shirt to come in.

I'm pretty sure it will end up being a SKT T1 vs Royal final. I think its really hard to call a clear winner between these two though, one should never rule out either of these Asian teams. I think Royal may want it more though seeing as this will be their last tournament together with their current lineup.

Some of it. But I bet most of that stuff ends up going to other people. I may feel like doing giveaways or charity raffles one of these days. :D

Edit: Seeing as I already have a FX-888D and a Yihua 936, anyway. That sale was too good to pass up.

Thats awesome.  I hope some day I'll be able to give back like that.

Actually hopefully the keyboard community makes it to that point...

my G80-3000HFG/11 Arrived today. Maybe not the cheapest but not incredibly dear at £31 ($46?) including postage. /11 seems to tie in as a later one, looks like a March 1993 model.  A bit of muck inside and a fair bit of shine on the middle area of the keys, and maybe 5 or 6 of the keys have lost their click, as may be expected. All in all, I rather like it, some sharp doubleshots, those F+J scoops that many find so desirable,  and an ISO layout. And some old blues if I decide to commit a crime and just salvage it for switches.

Another great day at the office !
I got my second and third (all different) G84-4100, all in AZERTY-french (one with 2winkeys, one with a 2 color layout, and the same all in white that I got months before).
And an (?) Cherry G80-0486, with Cherry M8 switches and DSA doubleshot keycaps. I can't find this particular model on the web nor on the various wikis. The Deskthority as a similar keyboard with the G80-0662 keyboard, but it's not what's written on mine.
Anyway, the M8 switches feels like a mix between Cherry ML and MX Browns... I know they're linear switches, so they should feel like blacks, but I definitely feel a bump before the bottoming-out.
The cable is cut, so I have no idea what's the connector for this keyboard: it's 16 cables warped in ugly transparent plastic.
Should I add it to the wiki, or is it a known keyboard ?
(Sorry, I only have potato pics, my GNIII is due in about a week...)

Zebra M-701 pencil. It's amazing. HIGHLY recommended. I got it because I hate using dull pencils. This is so much better. It's night and day even compared to other mechanical pencils.

Curious.

Might one ask what you intent doing with them?

Aha!

At one stage there was a motherboard that used a valve in its audio subsection.  Interesting.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Pretty high end too!

I wouldn't say high end.  For that you need Starrett or German/Swiss precision.

Plus if you need the precision of .001" i don't trust digital

Mitutoyo is pretty high end for digital.

Starrett are nice too, but I tend to prefer digital.
