skull squadron goes really well on that full size board!

Actually that's probably one of the best key sets for a full size board I have seen!

Short cable for my headphones.

How long is "short"?
1.2m

That's pretty long - long enough to get tangled in something.

I sometimes wish for a 30cm headphone cable for my commute - saves a 1m cable falling out of my pocket at inopportune moments.

You might have been able to have it shipped to a cable guy to shorten it and then ship it to you.
Although I'm not sure about their experience with those cables or if you would want to pay that premium.

I know, right?  Couldn't really say no to that kind of deal.

And you're forgiven for rooting for the wrong team for so long.  You made up for it on Sunday.

Very congratulate, mr demik!
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
