Made it myself.  Going to build a couple more in the near future (one already reserved for JD), and will post the others in the classifieds  :thumb:
The next version is going to be a little smaller to better represent the small form factor of the JD40.

Good looking board, with deep space on it. I wonder if it is hard to use it for everyday typing stuff.

Thanks.  It has dolch on the alphas, and I think it looks quite nice together. I have been using the board almost daily, and am getting used to the layout.  Only when I have a bit of number entry to do does it get cumbersome trying to hold the function and use the asd row keys (even more so when using a bunch of punctuation), but other than that, it just took a while to get used to where the period is.

Can't you change the location of the Fn key? Perhaps SpaceFn could be a good layout to use on this board.

But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Can't really get a color accurate picture of this thing. It's more turquoise or something. I can't describe it.

That's just his MO.  Ship quickly, good responsiveness, slow down, not ship for months, go MIA, start the process over with many of the older orders ignored.  It's like an abusive SO.  They treat you well, start to treat you like ****, you leave them, they say they've changed but never apologize, start to treat you better, then go back to treating you like ****.

I loved Optimus Primal back in the TV show! But it's not the transmetal one with the hoverboard is it?

Still have a whole box of transformers and Power Ranger Zords underneath my bed here. One of them being the Deluxe transmetal rattrap and Waspinator. :)

The great tragedy of collecting toys is that most of the time you won't be able to play with them. :(

That doesn't make sense unless you collect to profit.  Also I realized the one in the lower left is almost impossible to see... so

O_O

I loved Optimus Primal back in the TV show! But it's not the transmetal one with the hoverboard is it?

Still have a whole box of transformers and Power Ranger Zords underneath my bed here. One of them being the Deluxe transmetal rattrap and Waspinator. :)

Nah, no transmetal.  They were a point when the series stopped being fun for me :-(

Actually, I thought it was an Mk2 when I bought it, but google tells me you are right! :)

Yeah MkII has the reflective eyes, it was in the EK sale.

Oh so that is why. This is he first version. I thought it was odd because it doesn't reflect or glow in the eye area.

Yeah.
How long did it take from your order being placed for it to ship? I've been on the fence about ordering that set for a while now because of their horrible reputation.

Order was placed Wednesday last week and I got them today. I certainly don't advise anyone to gamble with Sherryton since he can be very shady, but I didn't have any problems with this order, but I am sure there are still countless unfilled orders from them.

If you do place an order with Originative (you should not do this, btw), just expect the worst. That way you can be prepared to just chargeback with you CC company, or you can be pleasantly surprised if you actually receive your order.
