Yeah.
How long did it take from your order being placed for it to ship? I've been on the fence about ordering that set for a while now because of their horrible reputation.

Order was placed Wednesday last week and I got them today. I certainly don't advise anyone to gamble with Sherryton since he can be very shady, but I didn't have any problems with this order, but I am sure there are still countless unfilled orders from them.

If you do place an order with Originative (you should not do this, btw), just expect the worst. That way you can be prepared to just chargeback with you CC company, or you can be pleasantly surprised if you actually receive your order.
Same way I was when I ordered my Classic Beige Red from Originative, was fully prepared to never recieve it but It's the only way to get that set so I was willing to gamble. When it shipped quickly after ordering and arrived as described I was pleasantly surprised.

When ever I order from orginative, I email them to ask if the product really in stock to check is there anyone in originative will reply my email..  so far I don't have any bad experience with them except they still haven't send back my spacebar...  but prepare to call your credit card company and your bank before ordering.  I would not recommend to buy from them though.

I took a risk... and it ended up working out in the end.

GMK Cyrillic came in today.

Damn I can't get used to see these ortholinear layout. So weird! How does it feel using it on day to day basis? Was it hard to get used to it?

Only just got a full set of 1x1s to type on it painlessly, editing it's own code and this with it now, most of the characters seem pretty natural other than a few fluffs here and there (tend to glance the edges of the keys in the bottom row as they're the most offset), originally the arrows were shifted one space left which didn't work too well, I'm considering swapping printscreen and return to be one to the left but I'll see how I feel after a bit more typing I think it's the position relative to the arrows that throws me more than the characters.

Regarding the ortholinear layout in general, is it hard to overcome coming from a normal layout with the modifiers being at a different size than the other keys (if you ever used one before this one)?

A KMAC Mini was SUPPOSE TO COME!

But I forgot to write my unit number so it's being sent ALL the way back to US.

Worst part is that I know exactly where the package is but since they marked it as return, there's nothing I can do :(.

The mods seem perfectly fine as I'm mostly targeting the edge of the board it's just like using a more compact layout, one letter off transpositions are the major noticeable  effect.

I once drove to a TNT location and just asked the staff in the facility to give me my package. I got it.

Ok moar pics (haha my phone autocorrected "moar" to "moist" lol. )

Bag is pretty cool, little dirty (Ray likes that):

When my wife saw "sniffer" she says "geeks are SO weird"

No shine, caps look mint. Pulled a cap, Cherry blues underneath and very very clean. All switches are nice and even in weight and feel.

I'm going to throw DOS and Mario Teaches Typing on here for my son to play with. He and I will clean it, wash caps, etc together as a little dad-son project.

Later when he needs net access we'll pull the guts and put modern components in there, prob have to replace the screen also.

He's really excited and I am too!

there isn't. just adding support. I haven't even gotten a case yet so i might end up not using them if i get plate support.

Since when did Ducky make red keycap sets?

These are backlight-friendly, yet?  Let the LEDs shine through the legends?
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

There are sets available for the shine 3 and for the shine 4 (ISO DE Layout), so i think they are out for quite a while now (at least the shine 3 ones).
The caps are backlight friendly and the LEDs shine through the legends very well. That is why i picked them. :)

Bag is pretty cool, little dirty (Ray likes that):

No shine, caps look mint. Pulled a cap, Cherry blues underneath and very very clean. All switches are nice and even in weight and feel.

I'm going to throw DOS and Mario Teaches Typing on here for my son to play with. He and I will clean it, wash caps, etc together as a little dad-son project.

Later when he needs net access we'll pull the guts and put modern components in there, prob have to replace the screen also.

He's really excited and I am too!
Today I learned the Dolch Pac has a bag.... I NEED IT.

And it makes me so happy that not only did you get a Dolch board but you got a computer too! And you're keeping it to share with your son!!

So cool :D

Thx dude. And this morning I was admiring the real accents on this thinking that Hyperfuse would look amazing on it (though the stock keycaps are kindof sacred).
I'm back.

You are right! I want to make some keyboards and see how they turn out. I have joined the Gateron GB and have some switches laying around. I am not entirely sure yet, but I want ISO to be more represented around here.
Maybe selling some?
:)

Grifiti Chiton Fat Keyboard Sleeve (12")

I've got a Ducky Shine Mini, adding a standard mouse in the pocket might make it too tight. It could be okay with a small, portable one. Other than that, it's pretty snug. Though I heard from someone else that the black dye of the sleeve might eventually rub off on white keycaps.

I see you also hate the new green apple flavor ;)

My desk at work has a cup of green apples I've been picking out of my Skittles for the past week and no one wants them.

Also: nice Reaper!
