Black ink for my exams and syringes (there are 5) to make filling my assortment of pens easier, annoyingly arrived after 3/5 of my exams have already happened.

I use the visconti traveling inkwell and it's quite awesome

http://www.penboutique.com/p-5827-visconti-universal-traveling-inkwell.aspx

Not sure if you need more ink then that though, but I've heard the syringe method is good also

I never really need to carry ink with me besides what I carry in the pens (don't write enough in a day to run out before I get home). Seems like a nice idea though, I did try and get one of my friends who works in the Biology labs at my Uni to get me a pipette but they only had fancy electronic ones. Maybe a little extravagant for filling a pen...

i knew what the syringe is for. My point was more, I'd be terrified of an exam I couldn't do in pencil or on a computer.

Ah I see. They scan our exam papers in after the exam and claim that if you don't use black ink then it won't show up on the scan. Seems like a bit of a false claim to me but I guess there's no point in doubting them.

Nearly ordered red ink today (for note taking) but settled on blue as I think red would annoy me after a while. A bottle tends to last 1 or 2 semesters..

Some old faces, some new faces, and some pi. Not too keen on the GH January pack, mine came out looking nothing like the ones on TK. They are all sloppy, but it's a new process I guess.11951-0

They go on sale in the classifieds section usually about once per month.  The group buy is long over, though.

I put the whole set on at first but it took me a while to become accustomed to the bright pink-ness compared to the dark-grey that I've grown familiar with over the last few months. Everytime I'd be looking at my screen, then in my peripherals I'd see the pink...
And when I'm typing (noob typer, must look at keys sometimes) its pretty in-your-face. (I think its just a matter of getting used to it)
