:D

I on the other hand really like the green leds and cable with the yellow caps, not very common and pretty desirable if you ask me

Thanks :D

Seriously?  Might be interested ... I've got a TKL set of Filco yellow keycaps on the way, but a 17key set would round them off.  Are these Filco yellow?

Yeah I'm expecting a few replacements in the next week or two, I'll message you then.

Interesting ... the Ctrl keys are slightly wider than the other row 1 modifiers.

Yeah already had the mouse, was a Christmas present from a close friend.

I have never been one for subtlety lol, Just wait until I get my custom unicorn vomit keycaps for it  ;D

Love the industrial design and the fact I can have the numpad on the left or right sides, seperate, or completely removed. IMO goes so well with my R.A.T. 7.

For gaming the ability to reassign any key to another key, macro, string, or program launcher is awesome too. I also like the moveable macro pad so I can have them right where I want them.
Other solutions like the 18 keys on the left side of the K90 are way to jumbled together and hard to reach compared to how they are here with everything  reachable without moving from WASD.

But like stated to each their own and I know a lot of people hate the design of this board but personally I love it and it is really well built.

My keyboard for Uni will be quite minimalist though, going for a CM Storm Quickfire Rapid with MX Greens, and will use my numpad from the Mech 5 with it.

This is how it looks in a more toned down setup with option accessories removed:

Not technically in the mail as I was out and about and saw a Thermaltake Meka w/ Cherry blacks looks brand new, no wear on the caps at all, for £25 (around 40 dollars). Amazon is selling them at £65 ($103) so I got a bit of a steal I think! All cherry black switches as well which I haven't tried on a board yet! Makes a change to get a reasonable deal in the UK on a board  :))
