Sorry about the poor lighting and potato quality but I just got this snare drum today

116493-0

It's a 6.5x14 SJC maple snare with a birdseye maple veneer.

It used to belong to Panic! at the Disco's old drummer, Spencer Smith.

Not quite in the mail, but we went to a fete today and there was a book stall.  Because we were late and they were nearly ready to close up, they were selling as many books as you could fit into a bag for $1.

This was one of the books I grabbed - really surprised no-one else grabbed it earlier in the day!

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Honestly I've had good luck with the 40% creme peroxide you can get at Sally's beauty. I just apply it with a brush, sit it in the sun for an hour, wash, reapply, and repeat 4 or 5 times. The washing and reapplying basically just helps the finished product look even in color.

Nice!  I never skimp on brakes, and usually try to do big brake upgrades if they're bolt on.  Just be sure to get some Castrol SRF and stainless lines to complete the package.  :thumb:

I got this yesterday, but didn't get a chance to open it up till today.

The board was listed as BNIB condition.  I do think that it is in great condition, but not BNIB.  The keyboard doesn't look like it has had any use.  Not really a UK fan, but the design and colors are really nice.

got some sweet stuff!
now my backspace doesn't feel so lonely...

and....
a bag of some clicky  mx switches...
which I think is kind of odd. the old mx vs new mx clicky whites...
the plunger seems like a different type of plastic all together.
the old ones aren't as chalky looking, and are almost 1% transparent, not sure how else to describe them other than photographing them next to each other...
the new ones are almost a reflective white...

and I apologize for the low quality photos.

Its actually a Filco Zero, the seller sent it in a Realforce104UB-DK box :))

The Fukka XM White switches seem ok but they are way to heavy for me, cant wait to swap them out and install a new set of keycaps.

Its actually a Filco Zero, the seller sent it in a Realforce104UB-DK box :))

The Fukka XM White switches seem ok but they are way to heavy for me, cant wait to swap them out and install a new set of keycaps.

Yeeeee
Fukka filco bro.... Good luck swapping the keycaps, I sweat like a pig pulling them out
Even broke my ****ty metal puller, now I know the cheap plastic (with switch the top puller) one is better

Haha its my first Filco board, and im very impressed with it. Going to swap out the switches though for some SKCL Greens, hopefully they arrive along with the new keycaps in about a week.  I might pickup a TaiHao Olivette set also, i always liked how Olivette sets looked.

I finally got my 22mini in the mail!!! :D :D

Ordered this bad boy from Apollos about 10 months ago after Sent turned me on to them! 62g ergo clears, lubed and stickered. This thing is like butter! I'm rocking Dolch until I get my hands on Hyperfuse.

Got this sweet old lady in today:

I'm keeping the computer, and sending the keyboard on to sby overseas.

It's in great condition except for a scratch on the front edge, keys still have good texture:

Not much shine on spacebar either:

The board should make its new owner happy, and the computer will make a great learning environment for my son. 🏻

Edit: and I got this. I was all excited, thought I got a steal in eBay, but it turned out to be the rubber dome M. Argh. That's why I should leave it to the experts I guess.

What do the keycaps on that look like (when removed from the board)?  They look the same profile as BS keycaps.  Just wondering ...

They seem to be the same except the stem is more solid that BS stems that I've seen.

Yes they are good thickness, good condition. I don't think the board/computer was used too much; there's not much sign of wear. For example, the cable has no scuffs or kinks at all. Usually that happens quick with these.  It's like an old telephone cord.

The switches are the expected MX blue. Manufactured 1997.
