Yeah, I agree. The big ones are far too... chalky? Haha.

I can't remember the name of the others one, too. Same packet but numerous sort of colours in the pack. Were they miniature love hearts?

Nestlé Smarties are a colour-varied sugar-coated chocolate confectionery popular primarily in the United Kingdom, the Isle of Man, Ireland, Canada, Australia, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Germany, the Netherlands, France, Greece, the Nordic countries, South Africa, and the Middle East. They have been manufactured since 1937,[1] originally by H.I. Rowntree & Co.. They are currently produced by Nestlé.
Smarties are oblate spheroids with a minor axis of about 5 mm (0.2 in) and a major axis of about 15 mm (0.6 in). They come in eight colours: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet, pink and brown, although the blue variety was temporarily replaced by a white variety in some countries, while an alternative natural colouring dye of the blue colour was being researched.
Smarties are not distributed in the United States, except by specialist importers. The Smarties Candy Company manufactures a hard, tablet sweet under the name Smarties (known as Rockets in Canada), which is unrelated to the Nestlé product. M&M's are similar to Smarties but not related.

I meant Nestle candy coated chocolate smarties. They are powerful weak compared to M&Ms imo. But some people tend to fancy them.

Today was a GOOD DAY at work.
As I went outside to smoke my e-cig, I found this keyboard in the trash for electronic components : (warning ! ****ty cellphone photos incoming)

Only one key is missing, and only ~4 are damaged.
And it's doubleshot in my layout !

Here is a switch, cherry mx black :

And closeups of the back  :

It's supposed to still work because it was fine last week, and they threw the whole computer away (in a separate bin, couldn't get it).
I have no way of using it... for now !

Also got my Portals keys :

Well, I guess I'm off to wash my new board !  ^-^

Nice find on pre 1989 Cherry. French G80 with doubleshots are not often easy to get hands on. It also is an older 1000 series model so it should have NKRO and not only 2KRO like later stuff. After a good clean and a PS/2 cable you should be good to go.

Well a PS/2 cable won't be enough I guess, because I don't have any PS/2 ports on my computer (I know I know, shame on me...). Gonna need an adaptor...Or I could just use it at work, but I'm not fond of linear switches.
Anyway, I think I'm gonna check the bin at my work everyday from now on ! :))

Sure, you might not have PS/2 as most newer motherboards don't anymore. But, it is easier to deal with PS/2 to USB adapter, than with AT to PS/2 to USB adapters. Of course, you could always just go straight to replace the controller too, plus you can get programability with that at the same time as update to USB.
