I got a bag of MX Clears from MK.com as well as a simulated "tsangan" kit from blank keycapsdirect caps (PBT, and the spacebar is ABS from the Graphite colorway)

40955-0

Not a great color match, but I needed caps of proper sizes!
P.S.: SP DSC spacebar feels kind of funky to type on, and not only because of the sharp front edge.  Something about the profile.
P.P.S.: Looks like SP sent me something other than WFJ for those "white" 1.5x modifiers.  Was supposed to be WFJ.

Turn it around? Or ship it to a proper medical facility.

I've tried that too and still prefer the normal way, because of how I'm used to resting my thumbs on the spacebar.  There's a certain height you get with Cherry and OEM profiles, and I think those are much better.  Oh well, this is supposed to be "temporary" (for a few months).

I had some Shapeways credit from like February that I finally used.  I forgot I had it until I was talking with someone about 3D printing.  So I went ahead and made one cap that has been around for a while and three others that I threw together.  Sadly, the third of the ones I made, one I called a keycrap since it was a giant poo on the cap, didn't have a successful stem, so I didn't take any pics of it.  Here are the other three though.  Sorry about the photos, but I just can't seem to get better shots of them.  The material and the colors makes them hard to shoot without a proper studio setup and proper macro lens.

I included the url for two of them so you can get a better idea of what they look like.

Please sell me cthulhu cap!

You can download the model from here, upload it to Shapeways, and have it printed and sent to you or your proxy or get it done locally.  I might get a few since shipping isn't the cheapest from Shapeways while the caps are pretty inexpensive (for the most part).

That looks fantastic!

The kind of keyboard you'd be happy to use exclusively.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

just received the Al case today for my rf!

Are you using the feet or no?  The feet made the case too high for my liking. So now I'm rocking it feetless.

Hey, actually I am using the feet. It is a little higher than the stock RF case with the feet down, but definitely lower then with the stock case feet up.  It feels good, I like :) I need to reanodize this beast soon.

Looking good! Also, do you type on bare stems or are you just in the process of switching keycaps? :p
haha actually just waiting for some new keycaps for it. I just finished building it and got it to fit on the case.

Apparently the answer to "Do we really need ANOTHER coffee maker".. is this:
The DeLonghi EC155 espresso maker was < $100, it has a 15 bar pump, a thermoblock heater and is ready to make the first morning espresso in ~ 3 minutes.
Takes about a minute or less for the next pour

Its pretty easy to make a great doubleshot with a thick layer of crema
I've been using LaVazza Crema de Gusto preground espresso

There's a dip switch on the bottom that allows you to swap the Caps Lock and Left Ctrl keys. So the window's there for the caps lock LED in that case. It also comes with a 1.75x Ctrl and a 1.5x Caps Lock keys if you want the correct legends.

That was quick!

Congratulations - now you can post in all the Topre threads :)
