i haven't seen one IRL, but I think that's exactly it. It's not easy to photograph to make it look appealing especially when it's followed by all these smaller boards. But it still looks good in it's own way. I think my favorite was one where they threw dolch on it and it came out really really good looking.

Just be glad you didn't go for the XL R2! Mines a beast, but I love it all the same, nice case. What's your build like?

Nothing special, just the bits from my current PC, i7 (930 iirc), SSDs, a passively cooled Nvidia card, main reason for rebuild was PSU in PC went POP last week (tripped the ring main) so while rebuilding might as well move into nicer case.

For the record the AP series of fans from Silverstone are AMAZING.  I have 3 of the AP180 or AP181's across the bottom of my case from them.  They move TONS of air and are nice and quiet.  I also bought my wife one of the desktop USB powered ones for her desk at work and she loves it.
