The keycaps should be here tomorrow. The build quality is very good on this board, the tilt angle without the legs is great, the rubber pads are better than my Leopold, and the greens sound quieter than the blues in my Leopold. We're getting off to a good start...
Was ist das?

WASD http://www.wasdkeyboards.com/index.php/products/mechanical-keyboard/wasd-v2-87-key-barebones-mechanical-keyboard.html#ad-image-0

Here it is with the Ducky PBT caps. I love these MX Greens and the keycaps so far! It may make a good BS substitute...and it's definitely quieter than my board with blues (not that they bother me in the first place.)

what mouse?

Microsoft Trackball Optical v1.0 I think. I bought it about 10-12 years ago and had more that I gave away. I might have one backup. It was ~$40 new. Look at what a-holes are asking for them now: http://www.amazon.com/Microsoft-Trackball-Optical-trackball-optical/dp/B00004Y7MT

Do you think http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-910-001799-M570-Wireless-Trackball/dp/B0043T7FXE/ref=sr_1_sc_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1399763817&sr=1-1-spell&keywords=logitech+trackballl would be a good substitute?

I have not tried that particular model, but I do have one of these: http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Trackman-Wheel-Optical-Silver/dp/B00005NIMJ/ref=pd_cp_pc_2 which is close. It's a good substitute. I prefer the Microsoft, but the Logitech is pretty close.

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

10key is separate, but other than that everything came in the base set.
The scooped cap 5 is from the tenkey, the J and K are the base.

im a little confused why there wasn't another 00 key for the tenkey personally.

Like all 10keys i know is either the double key length 0 or a single 0 and 00 layout.
whats the point of giving 1x 0 cap =/

oh my, I hate those blind box packets, but if you get good at feeling inside the packages you can usually figure out which is which haha. I've personally spent a fortune on gacha machines and have a ton of duplicates of random figures.

Yeah, they are pretty nice. :)  I ordered them along with some other things directly from Lego's website, since they were having a special May the Fourth promo.  I'm sure they sell them in retail toy shops as well.  Then you can feel them up like dragonxx21 mentioned. :)

I ordered these online, so I was at the mercy of whomever packed up my shipment.  Haha at least with the packets you can feel them for what's inside.  Awhile ago when I visited Japan, I bought a couple of those collectible anime figures that come in the small blind boxes.  I did a lot of shaking of boxes, comparing weights, feeling how the contents moved around and listening to them as well.  Then I found out I could order full boxes from sites like Amiami, and those boxes usually seem to come with complete sets.

Hmm... I think I need a Krusty the Clown.  I'm guessing his head piece should be relatively easy to feel out. :)

got my ducky mini AND DSA Dolch within an hour of eachother. why they didn't arrive at the same time is a mystery, but i'm not looking the keyboard delivering gift horse in the mouth.

more here: http://imgur.com/a/eg8Zp

Sweet another Ducky Mini in the states! Congrats man! I love mine.
I use pure limited cases w my poker and ducky mini. I'd tell you my secret but then your board would look like mine... Jk I'll tell you. Just switch the spacebar to costar stabs! Enjoy! ;) you're welcome.
The Poker x with Beast steel plate, they fit perfect. Not sure about poker II.
The Ducky Mini, I had to use a rotary tool on the sides of the costar stabs to make it fit the steel plate.
Good luck!

Really,  the USPS on a Sunday?  I didn't even know they would deliver anything on a Sunday.

That makes me uneasy about how reliable Sunday deliveries will be now (at least where I live).

But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Is mail outside the US delivered on Sundays? Always wondered

Not here.

Not even on Saturdays.

The US used to have Sunday delivery.  For some large metropolitan areas (Chicago, New York, etc.) we used to have multiple postal deliveries per day (up to nine times a day in NYC!).

But the trend in the US over the past few decades has been to cut or curtail services that working class people depend on, and show favoritism to services that benefit the upper class.  The USPS is a favorite target of the right-wing politicos.

That makes no sense.  The USPS gets cut because it is expensive to maintain and rapidly being replaced by the Internet.

That makes no sense.  The USPS gets cut because it is expensive to maintain and rapidly being replaced by the Internet.

Yet you can send a first class letter from Florida to Alaska for less than fifty cents.  How expensive is it to send a letter via FedEx?  UPS?

USPS gets bad press for constantly being over budget, because Republican lawmakers have mandated that the postal service has to budget for 20 years of retiree benefits.  Only the postal service gets this special requirement, by the way.

The irony is, of course, that USPS actually delivers a lot of UPS and FedEx packages, because last-mile service is too costly for the courier services to support to every address.  But you'll never see that fact in their advertising, they get too much mileage from beating up the USPS for their poor service.
