2 keycaps sitting in the mailbox, other half took the mailbox key with her when she left this morning.

FML

So close, yet so unattainable!

Can't you just get another key made for yourself?

I'm thinking about getting one of those if there is another drop on MD.

How do you like it?  I read someone on here say that the quality wasn't that good.

i don't hate it but it lacks any poly or varish coat, so it feels like very well sanded hardwood, not rough enough for me to hate it, it may be for the best for me as i always scratch any coats i put on wood.

Okay thanks.  I think I will try to pick one up.  I could always add a clear coat to it if I feel it's necessary.

It's not clear coated, so that may be something you'd want to do yourself?  I have the Mexican Sandal Wood for 1 of my pokers, and the 2nd wrist rest is on the way.  The finish is great, the look is unique, and It serves it purpose to boot!
Overall I'd highly recommend picking 1 or 2 up.  These are better than neoprene or other alternatives imo.

I say give it about a week or two. I also didn't like it when I first got it (thought it was too stiff), and almost sold it off, but now I'm glad I didn't! I love 45g Topre as much as any other Topre lover, but I'd say give the 55g a week or so~ If you still don't like it after that, at least you gave it a shot!
Yeah, I'm going to give it a few more days for sure. I tried a bunch of different combinations the last two nights (45g/55g, stock case/Digilog, black sliders/purple+pads) and the 55g + silent slider setup + Digilog case (which I'm using custom feet on so the angle isn't as steep) is the best combination out of all of them (though expensive). The weight is still a bit much (I can feel it in my finger joints), but I'm hoping that won't bother me in a few days because of how great the actual typing feels. I just need to get the larger/stabilized keys silenced now because they're stupidly loud in comparison to everything else.

I love how it looks but I wasn't a fan of ABS DSA.
People in the 1980s, in general, were clearly just better than we are now in every measurable way.

I made them just using some clear 3M double-sided mounting tape and the 3M rubber that was attached to the stock feet :P I think it's currently 6 pieces of tape stacked on top of each other and then the rubber. Works well, and anytime I want to adjust the height I can just add/remove tape.

I might try and find something nicer looking around the same height to replace them with later down the road, but for now this is an effective/cheap alternative.

I had an absolute hell of an awesome mail day today after going home to get some repairs done on my car. I'll also forewarn now that I was too lazy to use my lighting setup.

It started with a beautiful white walker being added to the family.

Then, without ever getting a shipping notice, I got my purple feet for my Kingsaver from GON.

The purple screws I have are just a little bit more pink than the feet, but I'm alright with that.

Next up, a healthy dose of gatorade! (the blues internals are going to be swapped with clear MX internals and 62g springs)

After that, time for a snack.

And last, but certainly not least, some gorgeous stickers from the very generous CPTBadass

Me too! At some point in the next week or so, the SAVER on the front will be getting a purple infill once I find the correct shade.

That will be worthy of a pic dump, and use of my lighting/lightbox setup haha.

The futuristic look makes me want to play Nemesis.

My biggest calibre yet, I'm pretty chuffed with these;

Now it's hard to tell scale without reference, so here is a 50cal round

And for those who don't know how large a 50. cal round is

unless they have some unforeseeable downside (like they're actually made of cream cheese cunningly disguised as ABS)

Now I'm really confused. Your wording makes it sound like the small bullet is the 50cal round, but then you compare a 50cal to a wine bottle??? But the rocks still look the same size~

-goes to google-

Edit: nvm, not thinking right. Wine bottle compares to those missiles you have in your backyard! :))

Sorry poor wording, the wine bottle was used instead of the 50. cal round :)
