I haven't minded the TH-X00 headband due to how light they are. I don't notice the padding or lack of padding, they mostly disappear (which is what you want anyways...)

They're more comfortable than my last pair of full-sized cans (HD-650), and I think that's saying a lot.

It just really depends on where I place the headband on the top of my head for me, in the dead center it can hurt after a few hours of use. I can just shift it a little bit and then it feels fine again. I'm just honestly nitpicking, I have to think of things to complain about these headphones. :p

Got the Questyle QP1R in the mail this afternoon.  Got the TH-X00s a few weeks ago.  Will be spending the rest of the night loading music onto this thing and testing tracks  :)
Thank you all so much

Is that a Drunken Skull?  If so, the face is one of the less white ones I have ever seen!
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I've seen some pale ones from Clackvent, but not quite that pale!

The one above seems so pale that any hint of whiteness in the face could be a trick of the light.

Mine has a very white face :)

Very froth.
