How is that?  I'd thought about getting it... but decided to go another way, because I couldn't get a good feel for it.  What are your initial thoughts?

So the main pocket is really big. I haven't tested its limits yet but I will this weekend when I go to vacay.
Front pocket (leather) has a laptop slot and a lot of space for other stuff.
Bottom pocket is pretty okay.

I think the zippers are plastic, so its not thaaat nice but they're really big. Hopefully they don't break or fall off the tracks.

There's a flap that can cover the backpack straps that is zippable when you want it to be like a duffel, and rollable when you want it to be like a backpack.

There's three plastic handles , top bottom and side. I feel like three is overkill.

I really like the aesthetic of the bag. It looks really cool, IMO.

All in all, for $42 I think its a great buy. Much cooler than my Jansport.

What'd you get instead?

I got $400 worth of stamps today!  :D

Non-visible part of the form indicates it's for a silencer (damn politicians. Suppressor. Not silencer) and that the intended use is for "any and all lawful purposes".

Someone apparently went up to the great philosopher Wittgenstein and said "What a lot of morons people back in the Middle Ages must have been to have looked, every morning, at the dawn and to have thought what they were seeing was the Sun going around the Earth, when every school kid knows that the Earth goes around the Sun", to which Wittgenstein replied "Yeah, but I wonder what it would have looked like if the Sun had been going around the Earth?"

Nice.  I wish stupid California allowed stuff like that.  Stupid Hollywood logic made them big scary things that completely quiet guns instead of making them less deafening.

Yeah, not sure how WA of all states was one of the few to allow them. I honestly don't care that much about having them, and have no desire to own an AR-15 or any other modern rifle. I do however like the idea of using a smaller rifle with a suppressor as my defense gun at home that won't blow out my ears in the unlikely situation where I need it. I applied for a form 1 mainly because the rules were going to change at the start of this year. I mailed the form on 12/24/15.

They get pretty quiet if the baffles are wet, otherwise you absolutely still need ear protection. There was a bill in the house to deregulate them, but I don't think it went anywhere.

An Eagle Creek Gear Hauler
http://shop.eaglecreek.com/gear-hauler/d/1291
http://www.amazon.com/Eagle-Creek-Gear-Hauler-Luggage/dp/B00BYFCK2Q

A lot more expensive, but it has ended up serving me better than I ever would have thought.  I just wasn't sure about the durability of that one.  This has let me go one-bag on a lot of trips, and has held up very well.  If I had to say it had any cons, that would be the padding in the laptop section was very minimal.  But it's a good, solid bag to take pretty much anywhere.

Quality seems nice so far. I haven't had the chance to assemble it quite yet. But if the same effort was put into the board as the packaging, it should be good.  :))
