They do match very well, the clacks are more vibrant though. SP pink is not as bright as I thought, but it is still a very nice color, its almost a pastel pink.

Oh I'm glad it finally arrived! I love the color and might have kept it if I had seen it in person first lol

I am glad it arrived safely, and nice closeup!

I don't have enough light, so it's super grainy since I was shooting at a high ISO.  I need to build myself a light table so I can get some good shots of stuff and shoot at a lower ISO.

Oh I'm glad it finally arrived! I love the color and might have kept it if I had seen it in person first lol

Dodged a bullet there I guess  ;)

I got this late last month but didn't watch it until last night because friend wanted to watch it together! This is the First Press/Release version Bluray! Not really keyboard related but I thought that people who know what this is will drool over it.

Sorry for potato pics.

Goes so well with my other First Press/Release versions of the 1.11 and 2.22 :)

They're so shiny!

Yesasia. They're absolutely beautiful and the pinnacle of hardcore Evangelion fans (fan since '98 LOL!). You just have to be willing to drop about $70 for each one, AND these ones don't have English subtitles because they're Japanese imports. I have both Japanese first release Blu-rays and the USA Blu-rays... The USA copies are so ugly and poorly packaged... At least 1.11's was, and 2.22 wasn't bad but they're all made so cheaply... Nothing compared to the quality of these Japanese First Releases anyway :))

They're all Blu-ray versions. The silver with red booklet/case is 1.11 and the orange and black is 2.22. They have the First release DVD's too and also cost about $65.

*sigh* now to wait another 2 years for 4.44 :(

yeah I could only find the (limited edition) 1.11 dvd that I got from amazon becasue it looked like the blu-ray packaging of the limited edition 2.22 that I have, but they are just regular cases in slip cases, nothing like those... though looking on amazong, you can get that package for 2.22 with italian subs...

never noticed 1.11 there lol... where did you get them?? I've only found them on amazon, but the listings are vague and random :/

hahah! Well these First Release versions all have high quality hard covers for the Blu-ray disc cover itself.

1.11 Came with a glossy hard cover and the red booklet that's inside is also glossy and also hard cover with artbook! It also came with a film strip that contains about 4-5 slides (the actual film strip)

2.22 Came with a glossy orange hard cover for the black matte hard cover for blu-ray, artbook, and another film strip!

3.33 Came with glossy teal/green hard cover with black matte hard cover for blu-ray and sound track! no film strip but a very thick artbook with teal/green cover!

Those are awesome! I haven't had the money to to spend on figures (even though I would love to get some later) but my friend did get me this from Evangelion World in Japan but I haven't been able to make it yet because I don't have the specific paint set for the finer details :(

I saw Evangelion quite a few years ago, are these a new version or the same but high-definition? Is there a new ending? (third lol?)

Same here. Got a GH60 to pay for, got server bills to pay, got shipping for the dolch to pay for, and I also have a Realforce board coming from the Deskthority euro tour which I have to pay shipping for. All my money is accounted for, and all money I'll be getting for a while is going on the case. After the stuff I've already ordered arrives my mailbox is going to be empty for quite some time.

I saw Evangelion quite a few years ago, are these a new version or the same but high-definition? Is there a new ending? (third lol?)

These movies are a "Rebuild" or a retelling of the story. The only similarity it has with the older series is the relationships between the characters. Other than that, it has a new plot and events. The only thing that's almost the same is the first half of the first movie but after that, it's a totally new story. If you liked the series, you owe it to yourself to watch these movies as it is headed by the same team and people. The newer animation, visuals, and CG work is remarkably beautiful. I've seen a lot of anime in the past 20 years but I have to say that 2.22 is definitely one of the best anime movies of all time. The last movie won't be out for another year or so so you won't see that for another 2 years :(

Good question, but I kinda doubt it. The only thing I'm sure of is that...both of these *****es are crazy  :p

Their characters are somewhat different from the series so they are now more emotionally/psychologically stable but still quite the characters :)) Shinji's still a ***** tho :(

No wonder they are attractive to me (insofar as any figures of animated character can be attractive). Crazy *****es are apparently just my type! :P

:)) :)) :))

LOL! As much as I hate Shinji as any other hardcore NGE fan, his retardation is crucial to the plot so I learn to deal with it :)) Rei's character is awesome because her character can't really change much but I love her character as she is :)) Mari's character is awesome because she comes off as a devious and a hedonist ***** but you realize that she still got them feels when it matters most. Asuka is still a tsundere (100 points) but even better now because she's emotionally/psychologically stable! Love.

1.11 and 2.22 were pretty cool. I just hope they won't ruin them with the same kind of ending as in the old series and movies, that was utter mind$!#@.

wow.... didnt know there are so many EVA fans here in GH!!!!
thought geekhackers arent interested in anything else other than keyboards and keycaps... ^^'''

To be honest, I like the original Eva design compared to the Rebuild of Evangelion 4 part movies,
because i think the original one has a more human-like anatomy compared to the new design, especially the torso region... the new ones felt... fat... LOL

but I like the new ones because they have more secondary color parts.. (EVA 01 with more glow-in-the-dark parts!!!! XD)

wow.... didnt know there are so many EVA fans here in GH!!!!
thought geekhackers arent interested in anything else other than keyboards and keycaps...

XD)

I can definitely see the "fatter" part but if you're talking about anatomy, the original Eva's were definitely on the anorexic side :)) I'd say the new Eva's are more anatomically correct when considered human-like, but I do like both designs.

The new highlighted/glowing secondary colors are amaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazing!

Came for goodies....got Anime talk.....Mission Accomplished ^_^

Glad I could be of service :)) It wasn't my intentions but I had to show it off to those that cared  ;)
