Oh, and just got these from Bulgaria.
Double shot cherry key caps with pad printed Russian? red fonts.
The keyboard itself had some funky tactile switches or membrane.

mmm turbo....

I still think those Smile! keycaps are the cutest :)
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Dat profile mismatch on your Rosewill TheFlyingRacoon. Ewies. The reason why I sold my Takaki caps (those blue PBT caps you have) is because my alphas were taller than my mods and typing on it hurt my head.

The mailman decided to work this week so my CCnG just arrived  ;D

The CCnG actually looks ten times better in person, I wasn't really a fan of the colors but I seriously got surprised.

I just got the Noppoo Mid 87 in the mail.
It's very well-built and I really like it so far.
I was writing a post in the reviews forum, but i lost the whole thing when something interrupted uploading:/
Maybe I'll do it later again.
Anyway, here's a pic.

I have to say that I really disliked MY switches, but I tried the ultra-low-actuation-force mod, and now... I don't hate them.   :p   Using just the leaf spring in the switch, and removing the coil spring, makes them into a ultra-lite linear switch, not too bad.  Plus, this G81 has the thick Cherry caps, which adds some mass to the key.

Just don't make the mistake I made, and lube them at the same time, that really makes for a weird typing sensation.
