I there an OEM profile doubleshot RGB modifier set with white legends out there and a nice darker blue like this? I'm not a fan of the RGB sets with the light blue.

I have a bunch of DS keys on the way and I'm not sure what kind of shade they will be and if they will better match the space bar, but cheers I didn't know it was a beige colour :)

yes. the pcb is A.87 and case is custom arcylic case.
i added leds by wiring myself.
leds are on/off using photocoupler.
on/off key is scroll lock.

i hope ppl share their cherry xmas keyboard pics.

I replaced all the switches...except F1-12...on my Filco Zero. Modded from complicated white ALPS to complicated orange ALPS. 4 1/2 hours of desoldering and soldering, one broken desoldering tip, and a burnt finger later.

It was worth it though.

Protip...Apple's locking capslock ALPS switch doesn't work the same on a Filco Zero.

Orange alps are awesome. Every keyboard I've owned my GF tries out too and she said the orange alps are one of her top favorites. I have to concur with her....they have a certain springiness that salmon and black alps just don't have.

Yes I am looking for new caps for the zero. The problem I'm running into is the bottom row (space bar and 1.25 modifiers). I don't own a Dell AT101W which is the only alps board I know of with bottom row keys that are the right size for the zero.

Lots of new stuff on this keyboard today...

* Cherry doubleshots salvaged from an old board on eBay
* New zinc caps from Feng
* Aluminum frame from Vortex

(This was done to a Camo Filco w/ browns, hence the green braided cord.)

The enter key was made the wrong profile, but not so bad in use.

Almost 5 pounds!

I don't really like typing on the metal keys. Especially the backspace key... it pings a lot. I have double o-rings on the stabilized keys which helps a bit. I'll likely put white-on-red modifiers or black on white SP modifiers on it.

Also, I'm currently looking for a place in Austin that can do anodizing... hope to do a nice blue or green color to the aluminium frame.
