Beautiful, delicious clacks.

Sponge or bread?  Black or dark purple clacks?  If those are the purps, man are they dark.  So damn good.

Dear people. I don’t want to be a grinch, but these skull keys remind me to my youth, when 13 year old kids played with He-Man and Skeletor. Are some of you actually adults?

Oh, whoops

I don't read good

As far as I know the classic CC skull shape is not inspired by skeletor, despite the fact that the only they have in common is the skull shape.

Did Skeletor always have chicken feet?  That's something I don't remember, but I never had He-Man figs.  I only watched the original cheesy cartoon, and I don't think he had chicken feet in that series?

I'm 90% sure that's in regards to the Skeletor themed tri-color, not the design of the original sculpture.

edit: see this post in the CF FAQ:
More

new
Q: What motivated/inspired your pusuit of these keys?
A: In 2007 was in a bad car accident and I was regretting not focusing on my own art. I decided to revisit an older fine art sculpture of mine. While I was working on it some people became interested in parts of it, and, well...
My keys have become an even more complete representation of the original (unfinished) sculpture, so I moved forward with them instead. I may still revisit that sculpture once more.[size=78%]

new
Q: What is your inspiration for some of the designs?
A: I'm pulling from a number of different areas actually. Mostly the themes presented in my original sculpture (see above^) as well as current social themes, however, some have come from commissions.

new
Q: How many different designs/styles have you made?
A: Many. Hundreds I would guess, some similar to what you have readily seen and many which are privately held.

new
Q: Why so many skulls? I'm a fussy pants and I want answers!
A: Grow up! =P
Despite it's many potential juvenile incarnations elsewhere, this one is rooted in the meaning of the original sculpture it was derived from. The skulls even have a name, though I don't publicize it. In short I call them "i". Think of the skull more in the symbolic sense like in the "poison" sign or in "Dia de los Muertos".

Are some of you actually adults?

Is that a requirement for membership?
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I'm 24. Skulls are cool. I was listening to NPR on my way home from work today, and they were talking to some 70 year old guy about his skull collection; 7,000+ in his basement of all different species that he's collected since he was a kid. Again, skulls are cool.

Ye. Miz is quite the looker. Hope to see more of that same color on color style. Lavender on royal purple, sky blue on cobalt, **** son Pink on Red! I don't even care for pink too much, but thinking on it Pink on Red is creeping it's way to the top of my most wanted hypothetical fabrications. Damn that would look good.
