Yup, it is official. The silver is now my favorite clack skull, and it is not even close. I did not get to see it too well in the pictures CC posted. But I like the look of it even better than I thought.

My Terminator clack has some fading. It is not metallic through out. I'm not sure if CC changed the way he has done metallic colors, so the newer ones may be different. You can tell by the bottoms.

Pretty bummed out to hear about the fading on the silver clack. I guess I won't be using it as an escape key then, which is how I intended to use it.

Bummer. I assumed the clacks were of a quality where we did not need to worry about a thing like this. Though I guess it is possible that the coating got improved this time around. I am not going to be the one to try though.

My Terminator clack has some fading. It is not metallic through out. I'm not sure if CC changed the way he has done metallic colors, so the newer ones may be different. You can tell by the bottoms.

Both appear to have some kind of surface-level coating, although they are quite different in texture and color.
