I want to turn my Poker's case white.  What is the best way to do that?

Those couple of pink caps really make the board - nice :)
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Those are purple with white (cream?) fonts double-shot modifiers from a recent group buy, which is closed and sold out.  You can try the Classifieds.

No, they do look mostly blue on the first set of photos he asked about.  Except for the Alt modifiers.  More purple on later photos.

End product.

Took me sometime to desolder the solder of the pcb. very tedious job indeed.  :(
But it's worth it. :D loving my poker II

Holy mother of sweet jebus. That looks cool. But i thought you could just click in the LED in the Poker 2?

The Poker 2 has the LED holes soldered closed for some reason; so you need to desolder and clean them first.
Then you can just drop them into place and resolder it.

It's not difficult, albeit pretty tedious like any deck soldering job.

Guess they wave soldered the boards.  I'll probably get a vacuum desolderer to do it :P

You make it sound easy. I wish there where more information on the process.

But it is pretty easy:
1. Put soldering iron on soldered holes
2. Wait for it to melt
3. Trigger solder pump
4. ???
5. Profit!!!

See an example:

That's even easier. Remove all keycaps, you will see the screws. Unscrew them. Disassembly done.

To find the correct holes, if you look on the switches, there is this a cutout where a LED can fit in. Here's a picture, red are the connectors for the switch itself which you should not desolder, blue are the connector holes for the LED. Switch picture stolen from Thechemist, markings by me.

Edit: found a good picture by WhiteFireDragon, heres a good view from the PCB, again do not desolder red, desolder the blue holes.

Correct, generated this GIF from Hakko's 204 commercial found on YT...
Looking for a 808 myself, but I need the 220-240V version which is much harder to find :(

That is indeed the graphite set, it seems to look different shades of grey/blue in every photo (I'm typing this reply on the set btw, on a Poker nonetheless!)
