ATTENTION GEEKHACKIZENS

ok, so, many of you have probably seen the orange on grey doubleshots that i've handed out to a few people, and maybe even been following the sticker and key-checking sheet threads. the last fundraiser for now is a special limited edition GEEKHACK PACK which will consist of the following:

1x heavy laminated key-checking sheet for standard US ANSI 104 key + tsangan kits
1-2x geekhack.org vinyl stickers from stickerrobot
1-2x geekhack.org paper stickers (tentative)
1x geekhack doubleshots set: 1x G, 1x H and 1.25x geekhack cherry font orange on grey set of cherry MX keys, courtesy Signature Plastics
1x geekhack MX dyesub key: 1x esc row GEEKHACK cherry font PBT dyesub orange on grey cherry MX key, courtesy imsto

This set is finally exiting production now, and should be ready in the coming few weeks.

techkeys.us has agreed to donate fulfillment services for this fundraiser, and will handle orders and order fulfillment. However, 100% of profits over production and logistic costs from this set will go to geekhack. This set will be a truly limited edition, with all items being limited to somewhere between 90 and 120 pieces. Further, this set will be limited to one per geekhack member.

Some randomly picked sets will also come with special extras drawn from a goodie bag of keys drawn from imav's grand grab bag of weird keysets (most of these keys are now rarities from years past

Availability and pricing should come in the next two weeks, as the final items trickle in; announcements of details will be made jointly with techkeys, and will be cross-posted on both geekhack and techkeys.us.

unless we really demolished your savings in that last auction, "the rest of it" is probably safe. in particular, there will be no clacks involved

Hmm.. after lurking for a few days I think this merits an account creation, I was just curious about what the key-checking sheet includes, as I've never really seen one before unless it's just the location of the keys and where they go on the rows. Thanks in advance and apologies if I just asked a really silly question.

the keychecking sheets have a few uses:

check completeness of a keyset when you're eg pulling them out of your storage bins
display slightly incomplete sets so that people can easily see what's missing
display complete sets so that people can easily see that they're complete
