Possibly. Or maybe not account for people that will buy more than one?

By more than one I meant if they still had the 3 per person limit. It would make sense to me to still hold that true. Or just wishful thinking.  ;D

I've traded away all my CCs anyway... :/ I'm a bad person.

me too, but I got a KMAC out of the deal, so I feel ok about it. But now I feel like I dont have any caps worthy of the honored esc position.

Where do you see it was closed and opened? As far as I've seen the deadline for entry was always 2012/11/15 23:59:59 PST which is tonight.

if you look now it says 2012/11/16 23:59:59PST. also it was closed at one point and then it reopened with the newly stipulated time.

Edit: And having just checked again it still says November 15th not 16th

I LoL'd. I think MMB should make one that's red and yellow and call it Small Fryme. I want one named after me! :P (pronounced prime but with an F)

Hmmmm... interesting.....
I was kidding on the name, different colors would be interesting to see though. :) Alas, I wouldn't mind having one named after me. ;)

Even the earliest of the dates is tomorrow morning (for us in the UK) at 8am so you should be fine...

Yeah I see the two dates now too. Never noticed the top most date so I can't say when or if it changed. But like GeorgeK the earliest date of 2012/11/15 23:59:59 PST still has not passed. We have about 16 hours to go on that and then add another day if it ends on the 16th.

WTF? who changes contest rules in the middle of the thing? shady.

Nothing was changed, someone alerted me to the contest ending late last night and, me being tired, I just changed the contest date temporarily until I had more time to look at it today to find the missing equal sign in the script that calculates the end date. Ending times on the registration pages should be consistent now. Sorry for the confusion.

Also, I have to ask for your patience in all this, as this is the first drawing we've run, and inevitably, a couple of bugs have shown up:) Hopefully future drawings for keys and some other *freebies* we've had in mind for some time will go much smoother:)

And while I'm at it here...drawing results will not be posted immediately after the end time, as we need to complete our review of all the submissions before running the drawing. We're already aware of some people who are *begging* for disqualification, so I apologize for any delays that come of these weasels. We want this drawing to be as fair as possible.

Thanks for the update, elitekeyboards.  I got my entry in early, not that it makes any difference this time, which is a very nice change :)

I really hope this works out.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Thanks for the update. Technical troubleshooting can be tiresome for sure.

I pm'd the man himself asking and he didnt reply so dont get your hopes up. Imagine the traffic it would get in such a short amount of time! Im wondering if that has anything to do with it. I can remember oogling at all the sweet designs in his gallery several times before the 'geekhack incident'. I would love to see an updated gallery of past keycaps.

He recently posted a list of previous key cap colours/names with a note that he will add photos at some stage.

The list is huge!!!

Wonder how long until the winners are announced.  Maybe the weekend?  Or probably next week unless EK works on the weekend.

Mind you, they could just all keep us in suspense all weekend hehehe

Positive thinking :) but I don't think it'll quite be on its way just yet.
Thinking about things isn't the same as doing things. Otherwise everybody would be in jail.

So it's finished now, wonder how long until the winners are announced ...
