IIRC these are hard anodized, so it's a lot tougher to recolor them

Thanks, Acetrak. Good to know, although sad. :(

I'm a little surprised you guys are surprised how nice they are. I always knew they would be.

I think we all knew, but seeing pictures is just so much better than imagining.

Hey boost, do you think the phantom case will look similar to this?

Do you have an approximate ETA?

Ping me if you need switches in the standard 4 colors (red/brown/blue/black) *for LZ-GH only*

Also, ping me if you need my address because I have crap records for who I already told and am feeling lazy in this damned 80degree heat.

BTW - EVERYONE that is set to receive an LZ-GH just got an IM ping from me regarding whether it is going to be assembled.  DON'T reply unless you changed your mind (again).

I have some questions about the assembly, I believe I have all the equipment and common sense but...

What size resistors do I need for the PCB?
Do they require "hot air" to solder?

If you ordered LEDs, you are getting proper resistors as well.

They are DAMNED small.  2.2mm x 1.5mm  They do not require hot air, in fact they don't require solder paste.  It is possible to do this by hand with the right soldering iron and tip selection.  You should also have decent tweezers.  It'll just take longer to do.

Kayliss, you didn't get a PM since boost left his name right next to yours so I figured he had it under control.

Boost... dude, data under the Total line :P

This image is from the TRiK website (rehosted by me):

If you look closely at the switch locations on the back of the PCB here, you will see the pads for the resistors on EVERY SWITCH location. (For example, the 'M' switch location uses resistor #171.)

Hmm, I have no idea if I ordered LEDs because I took over an order. Are you offering them for a complete board?

So every switch will require the proper resistor?

Also thanks for the replies!!!

hellocodes - full green LEDs  and yes, a resistor next to every LED

Halverson - you won't need any resistors if you ordered LEDs since they are included.  As you didn't go for a full board you're only getting 2 LEDs and 2 resistors.  If you plan on adding LEDs you need 1 resistor for each LED.
