[GB] Retro DSA Invoicing and Fullfillment - Payments Closed
« on: Tue, 26 February 2013, 13:20:05 »
This thread is just for status updates regarding invoicing, production and fulfillment for the Retro DSA Group Buy.

This is not the thread to discuss methods, philosophies, or economic theories.  This will be a strictly-moderated thread.

FYI, what you will receive is a request for payment from PayPal for a "service" with a dollar amount.  That amount should match the number you saw on the order system.  If you get something that seems wrong, ask me about it.  CA residents will see a larger amount due to collection of sales tax on your behalf.  If you have a valid CA Resale license and provide it to me, I will remove the tax charge.

I will post the user names I have invoiced below.  If you don't see your name, you won't see an invoice. If you see your name and not an invoice, please check spam.  Invoices come from "Group Buy Service via PayPal <member@paypal.com>", so look for that.

Invoices have all been sent!

Will this thread be where unpaid orders can be picked up? Or is that being sold as leftovers?

This is great, I just got the invoice. Thanks a bunch. :D

Quick question. The total is slightly less than what I'm seeing on the GB website. Can you please verify that you have 7 blank 1.25 keys in my order? It was my most recent change and I am worried it may have been missed. Thank you!

I was expecting at least $600 but it came in way lower.  Just surprised me in a nice way, which is unusual here on Geekhack.

I was expecting at least $600 but it came in way lower.  Just surprised me in a nice way, which is unusual here on Geekhack.

Matt and Sam know the Golden Rule of Business -- underpromise then overdeliver.

Or we made horrible, horrible math errors!  :-X

I'm kidding; it looks okay to me.  The final numbers from SP came in a touch lower than expected, and hopefully everyone will pay promptly and the costs will stay this low.

We should be good!

Thanks for all the fast payments!

I like keyboards and case modding.  Everything about a computer should be silent -- except the KEYBOARD!

54 of 207 orders are listed as paid -- 26% paid up. Is that considered good speed for a groupbuy?

Within the first few hours?  I'd say heck yes.  Especially since presumably some of the people are still asleep and don't even know they've been invoiced.  Stragglers will take a few weeks.  Usually there is a wall of shame for the last five or so.

Paid!

There is a second invoice for 193,28 USD though, I assume this can be ignored?

Yep, been on that list a few times before.  It's embarrassing to say the least.  :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[
