- Hole at the bottom to allow reprogramming of the teensy chip without having to take out the casing.
- Optional 1cm tall rubber feets (same height increment when you actually used the stands on your keyboard instead of a weird angled acrylic block
- Custom laser engraving of your choice
- Customizable colours
- Able to use your own plate, case specific plate not required.
- Able to fit the big as hell stock filco cable
- a sexy as hell casing

More customizations means higher prices, but I would get the quotes for you guys, just ask for the feature you are interested in

The current ball park figure is 50-60usd without shipping, I hope we can go lower with significant numbers, this is a budget casing after all. Prototype is already out, waiting for the WFD's plate to reach me to get the final fitting done.

Your comments and everything is much appreciated, I understand that this looks like what litster has done before and there was a woe with MKC. Well I just wish for myself to get one for my phantom build as well as hoping to make this affordable for everyone to get as well.

Do refer to the first picture for the 87 key variant! the 87 key type will have the acrylic to cover the top part above the keys.

Can do some engraving there as well.

A smoke grey case would look better with my dsa key caps. The slight curve on the standard tenkeyless filco case makes the top dsa keys look weird. A straight case would make them look better.

I don't understand this, why does it matter what colour the switches are when the keycaps are going to cover them?

This might get real interesting.  Please use differing colours between the layers.  That is what makes acrylic more unique than any other material for this type of keyboard manufacture.

Plus they're way cheaper than aluminum.

Please put some colour samples up so that we can vote on what to select.  Or can this Group Buy be truly colour customized for each customer?

Just realised that there are already proper terms for the casing designs like

Standard, Arrclus, Winkeyless, Winkeyless_Arrclus.

I will look into it but winkeyless is going to be complicated considering the fact that there are 1.5x and 1.25x variations of winkeyless, do let me know which one you are interested in.
I am trying my best to make the order as customizable as possible but likewise, more customizations means more cost, do keep that in mind.

No one is attempting to take his work, people are asking if he is willing to share his files, what is the point of doing the same work twice? It's his choice to give them out, or to keep them private.

Also I don't think hes done a prototype for the phantom yet, just for a filco.

I've done this case for the phantom in mind. The QFR and the filco compatibility is just a bonus feature since phantom is made to be compatible with Filco and QFR layouts.

I just don't have everything of the phantom to do the fit test and give the assurance/guarantee for phantom. This issue will settled once I have the plate with me, or I can get an acrylic plate made --> more cost but definitely cheaper than the Stainless steel version.

smallfry, i just wish you could stop asking me every other day, as of now, the files won't be released publicly. That said I don't even have the files on my computer ), it is all at the manufacturing site. Making a trip there tomorrow.

I think it's nice to have a mix of both. My preference would be opaque base clear middle and translucent colour on the top or something like that :O

Now that's what I'm talking about.  I would love a bright sandwich coloured baby ie., Opaque Silver on TOP and Transparent Smoked Grey in the middle with Transparent Red on the Bottom of the Case.

That would be my keyboard case to fit a spare Filco TKL.  Please let us know if you can also build a full 104 keyboard case, I will be willing to pay whatever for that  .

Please can you show us some samples of the Acrylic if that's not too much of a hassle?  Currently my version of a colour might not be the version you are currently arranging to buy.

Just need to be sure what's exactly available to use, I don't see I would change the order but I need to see some samples so that I might consider paying for another keyboard case.

One question: is the only difference between the two layouts the top acrylic layer? As in, would we be able to the the whole case and then both top layers to build and test different layouts?

I only ask as I'm still not sure on what I want (96 or 87 key )

Just a note takaki : In prof's layout there is no gap between the f key clusters, whereas in your 96-key case there is. Just letting you know.
