$70 on my QFR, including the paint job.  The PBT set was a Christmas present.

$100 total on my RK9000"ECE" (Ergo Clear Edition).  That includes the keyboard, paint and painting supplies, switches, stickers, springs, and Teflon Silicone lube (need to desolder and relube it with Krytox).

~$80-90 on my GH60 for the caps, case, switches, springs, and PCB.

Way too much on my experiments with metal casting, resin casting, USB cables, and key cap pullers.  Maybe one day those will result in some good community knowledge and me breaking even or even turning a small profit.

Definitely not adding it up on purpose, because this new hobby is a project for me, like most other things I get into.  I'll be working on 2 Filco keyboards for a while, as I made sure those projects are lengthy and require a lot of modification   Then it'll be it, most likely.  And I'll probably downsize to 2 keyboards, we'll see! (famous last words).

$60 for gas money to get a **** load of keyboards, IBM 5140, 2x 5150, 5160, 5151, 3x 5153, Toshiba T3100, 2x PS/2 P70, TRS-80 Model 100, Compaq Portable I (worst keyboard ever...foam and foil...), IBM 4201 Proprinter, IBM PC Compact Printer, manuals and everything else. I also spend $1 on a PS/2 to USB adapter and $5 on an AT to PS/2 adapter.

From that I got $70 and a computer case out of trades.

So I've spent nothing and made $10...?

Haven't added up what I've paid for keyboards, but I've found "my" switch quite early, so that has saved me quite a bit of money

And then various spray paints and soldering stuff, but that's something I do all the time anyway, as far as crafting and modifying, so I can't count it specifically toward keyboards

I haven't written everything down but my computer room was once carpeted in usps tracking #'s...  Maybe $2k?  And those were all consumer boards - nothing custom Korean.  Basically buy a keyboard .. discover it's not the one .. then sell it at 95% of it's value.

I've probably put $800-900 into this hobby that I haven't recouped.  In total I've probably spent much more then $2500.  Shoot, I've got at least $1500 in boards in my closet....plus I've got the lzgh and edox that are not in my possession yet.
