You traded for what? Keyboards? BroBots?
Got some GirlDC's a keycap set and some money
I find it is better to stay away. I started out like most people. It is all just fun and games in the beginning, and you see others doing the same thing and they seem to be fine. What could go wrong? But then, you try one, find out you really like it, and that is where things go wrong. Before you know it, you are scouting the classifieds, staying up nights trying to get one, spending money you should not be spending. You obsess over it and once you get what you are looking for, you are already looking for that next fix. Of course the sellers know you need to get your fix, jack up the price and bleed you dry.
When supply runs dry there are some benevolent mates that can sometimes hook you up from their own stash at no charge. But there is also a lot of envy, disappointment, profiteering and general negativity surrounding it. People get into fights, beg others for a fix.... you have to be careful too, there are imitation products out there.
Sometimes I go to a clack thread and look at them. But then I just remind myself that I am better off without them, and it is not really the clacks I want, it is just the thought of having them.
