I'm really hoping to see a veritable rainbow flood when they start shipping. I hope it doesn't turn out to only be a small handful of common colors   :-\

I'm probably hyping it up too much in my mind to expect glorious long lost hues from the ancient ages of 2010, and beautiful new colors no mortal has yet to behold.  :-X

I hope so too. What have the others got who got like the $135 Clacks?
No one has gotten a cap yet.

Hrm...
Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?

Unless USPS pulls the same voodoo they pulled for the Blackout sale, dunno how but I got my caps way before most other international people.
It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.

You will all be waiting for eternity since all your clacks will be shipped to me! =P

And USPS will lose them on the way here if their degradation in service continues

Don't know if the earlier winners know it, but for the final day winners, Clack said he will ship within one week of payment.

So you guys will get yours soon.

Naw, even the first Clackvent winner got that same message that said their cap would be shipped within a week (I got two of them in January). Hopefully his health continues to recover though and those people do actually start seeing theirs ship out soon.

yeah I wasn't actually expecting mine to be shipped out within a week of payment to be honest. :p
I'd rather see him get better and take his time to do a good job - I don't think anyone of us should be in any kind of hurry to get the caps?

Had to go with MX as it is the only board I have now and I won't ever sell it.

I just thought that there aren't that many BS artisans, and by the end of this week I will have 3 BS boards... So yeah. I thought I would go for BS. But if I end up getting an MX Clack I don't mind.

I spent so long deliberating between Topre and MX...

Ended up going MX so I have something (awesome?) to go on the TX1800 I'll be receiving in the future.

I hope I didn't make a mistake though because I use my Topre boards exclusively  :p

I was given the option on both, I said artist's choice.  We'll see.  I'm just hoping for hot pink or electric purple ogre.  If they're both ogres I don't have or if one is a Topre ogre that matches my HHKB, I'll be pretty much done with caps since I'll have gotten my "end game" caps.

Anyone get their clackvents yet?
I don't think anyone got their shipping yet, I think he still has a good bit to make if he was asking for the stem preference.

That was my thinking too!  Maybe he's going to send them all out at once.

wait.  you guys didn't get yours yet?

Wait, you've got yours already?

People in the 1980s, in general, were clearly just better than we are now in every measurable way.

The dumber the reason the more it must be done

Those were the cheapest along with the HOs other than the F2s. Now common clacks are over $200 each on eBay.

No wonder why you don't see people sell CCs in classifieds anymore. 😞

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

The price of clacks are too DAMN HIGH!  :'(

The Mint Gum was over $200  :)) :)) :))

Dumbass buyers.

P1 and Mint Gum aren't even particularly rare colors, MG especially.

3love, is that you? :))

Yeah, but purple!

How many purple ones are there ever?

There's quite a few of them out there actually. When I was looking to trade for one I got 8 different offers.

People with new money and no sense of priority on what an items value is?

Maybe that's a little unfair. I mean it's daunting to get into the Clack game on a new forum when no one knows you, I get that. I experienced that lockout feeling early on and swore up and down it was some underground conspiracy trading between the same select members in some lizard-people club.

well, that's not totally wrong ▲
