is $100 a more accurate pricing for F2 blue clack? Do all F2 caps of the same color have exact same shades or do they also vary from f2 to f2?

It doesn't seem like that long ago that F2s sold for $50 and regular single colors were $65.  Only the rarest of the rare were $150+.  Of course there was also a time before that when they were even cheaper; c'est la vie.

But in all seriousness, I really don't think an F2 should go for more than $100, even today.  If you need keyboard bling that bad, there's plenty of other stuff out there to buy.  Clack's work is top-notch, but you'd be doing yourself a favor to look elsewhere at that point.

My F2 was a gift. Several people could have taken it to flip but it was passed to me cause they knew I'd love it. Oh wait, it was revenge red mx but I traded that for the F2 with my good friend TJ.

Approximately how long ago were these prices realistic compared to today's ebay prices? Did most of the cap sales occur on classifieds rather than ebay which could be pumping out artificially high prices? I bet the price of artisans would drop much lower if people just kept ignoring the auctions on ebay so people who sell would have no choice but to do it via classifieds or a cheaper BIN. I think it was a few months ago that I saw someone post an F2 drunk skull which a lighter face than normal. Was it ballfong?

Yea just more users here and Reddit combined with anonymous bidding will raise prices.

Yep. Various reasons all contribute(d).

And I'm thinking of maybe 1.5-2 years ago? Even just 1 year ago though I purchased two Clacks for under $100 each (and promptly sold because I realized that was way more than I cared to have spent).

There's just a select few that are willing to pay those ridiculous prices so now everybody is expecting to get the same price for their caps. Kind of killed the hobby a little bit.

I sincerely Hope I stop dreaming about these caps. My new favorite one of the lot is the sweet corn skull. I still lose to the duck slender man in my dreams :-\

I know I'm late but only a year ago I got a 3D topper black from eBay for $75 BIN with next day shipping so prices are crazy but I think it also has to do with a influx of ne members  too

That doesn't seem that long. Some of those new members who bought at high prices will eventually get tired and bored so they will probably dump their key cap to the public and will have to lower their prices if no one else is willing to buy them at crazy inflated float prices.

Mine arrived this morning and I'm often amongst the first in the UK to receive stuff from the US.  Christmas post = slow, no need to worry yet :)

Lucky him!  There have only been two post days since last Thursday including today, it just seems like a really long time.

Clack uses standard mail - it's just as quick and less likely to attract customs fees (the declared value is accurate) though this time of year it wouldn't be my first choice.

I'll check on that customs number and hopefully know what day it arrives in a few days. Otherwise I'll have to pimp the package for round two!

Maybe it's just how they do it in this country. I'm in Singapore right now just waiting for my baby to be delivered. Good thing is, even first class mail from the US only takes 12 days to be delivered. Back home, it's more like 2 months minimum.

in 7 more hours, 2015 is over. Whatever will happen to Clackvent 2015?

It is more like 20 hours for cc. Maybe he'll just spam all day today? :P

Clackvent 2016 here we come!
