Afaik anodizing only works on an untreated aluminum surface. Referring to the pictures it shouldn't be possible to anodize the case because it's colour will black which implies that the surface has already been treated.

Too bad MK's silver Tex case went out of stock while I was waiting for this one, I should have just purchased it and been done with it.

Your order is acknowledged as I said a while ago. As you posted in the last page of the thread, this is a second chance order, so please bare with me, there are extras available and there are a lot of people interested, I can only offer them to people who filled out the form first, as its the only fair way of doing it.

I am currently working through the people who have ignored my emails and not paid their invoice to see if they are still interested, if not I will get your invoice sent out as soon as I can. There are no promises that I can get you a case, as the order form has been reinstated a few times and there has been more demand for them.

EDIT: I've just had a look and you are fairly high up the list, so rest assured you are more than likely to get an invoice from me soon, just be a little more patient

I'm OK with waiting (a coworker says I have the patience of a saint :3), I just wanted to be sure I was "locked in" since it's gone like this from my end:

-Second chance order submitted like 2 months ago (I realize this is a GB but since I got in late, I was already sweating I'd missed it

)
-Invoices sent to other members
-Still more people ordering
-More invoices sent
-Sent an email to reconfirm details
-Almost a week without confirmation

Not that I have/had doubts you'd come through, I was simply worried that I was past the cutoff or the extras were all spoken for, because it seemed like Vortex was still working out the details.

Sweet, just paid! I can definitely understand being busy and having to wait on another party to give fulfillment info. One of my most common phrases is "it's only a week late...so it's right on time" since it seems everything is always behind where I work...

Can't wait for a nice metal case, I have the perfect set of keycaps for it in the mail
