I got a Tipro a while ago that I was planning on turning into a switch try, but somewhere along the line I forgot about it and it just became a cap holder. So I want to revive the plan to make one. Once it's up and going, I plan on having a tour of it.
I believe I have enough Blacks and vintage Blacks on hand, should have enough Clears, and have a pair of Reds. So I'm looking for 6-8 Blues, 1 or 2 Greens, 6-8 Browns, and 6-8 Whites. If anyone has what they consider an excellent vintage Black specimen, I'd love to include it since I have a hard time discerning what makes vintage Blacks so awesome from my samples. I think 1-2 Red and Green switches should be good since they're the same as Black and Blue, just different color and spring. Less common switches would be nice, but I think I'd like to keep it to the more common so that it's more of a try before you buy or mod switch test. 6-7 of each would be good so I can do 45g, 55g, 62g, 65g, 67g, and 80g springs in them or less common gold springs if anyone has any.
Spring wise, I should have enough 65g and 67g springs on hand, so I'm looking for small quantities of 45g, 55g, 62g, and 80g springs.
Any help on this would be great. Free is great since I'll be turning it into a community switch try, but I don't mind paying a reasonable price for stuff, paying for your shipping, or making some small trades for stuff.
For easier reading, list of what I'm looking for:
-
6-8x MX Blues - Thanks CPTBadAss!
-
6-8x MX Browns Thanks jonathanyu!
-
6-8x MX Whites - if this is too hard to get or too expensive to give up, I'd be more than happy with 1-4 of them, just enough to include one or have a couple of the major spring differences sampled. Thanks goobus!
-
1-2x MX Greens - Thanks eyesmiles!
-
Maybe 1 prime "vintage" Black example since my fingers have a hard time telling the difference - Thanks Photoelectric!
-
5x 45g springs - Thanks Photoelectric!
-
6x 55g springs Thanks yicaoyimu!
