Bro Caps Therapy

Was the mold for Topre V2s changed at some point? I have a Nuclear Kush and a Liberator set, and the Nuclear sits at a perfect height, while the Liberators are pretty tall. It looks like there's a thicker layer of plastic "behind" the V2's face on the Liberator set, making the stem shorter and forcing it to sit taller on the Topre stem. Has anyone else experienced this?

There is probably extra plastic in the stem that is not allowing it to sit perfectly. I have a Interstellar Green V2 that sits like this.

Only topre v2 I've ever owned looked like the Nuclear Kush.

Yes, at one point, Bro improved the Topre stem so the key goes deeper into the switch. Compare to the older stem, the improved Brobot is lower when sitting on the switch.
