I don't usually post in here but those pumpkin bros have got me going. I need a little therapy.

I'm with you all the way there. My family is really into holidays and Halloween is always a very fun time. They're the first cap my GF told me I *need* to get her, haha.

Hopefully there will be other opportunities to get them aside from the carving contest; we get some really nice pumpkins but I can't bring myself to carve them into anything non-traditional. Triangle eyes, jagged smile, too good.

While I know the TPP has some pretty ****ty pieces in it, one of its benefits would be that Bro (and Clack) could finally legitimately go after k3 for copyright infringement. It's kind of why Bro also might not want to release his lycan design (not sure if he planned on it), because it could be seen as derivative work of k3's lobo (especially given their history), and he could actually have the tables turned on him.

I'm sick of seeing the terrible low post count users coming out of the woodwork from reddit and jizzing over sale threads, then leaving. However, it could result in more spam type posts. At that point, you can report for spam if ya want or call them out

I don't think the premise is silly, but 100 posts is pretty steep- at my post rate, that'd take over 3 months just to get to that count (and that rate includes my clackvent spam trash). So it'll certainly alienate the more casual mech/artisan enthusiasts and the lurker/non-English-speaking types.

It's his decision how he wants to make his caps available of course (just how I limit all my **** to CONUS), but I do foresee aftermarket prices increasing if the barrier to entry remains this high. Maybe the plan will also be to ban out people who sell for exorbitantly high prices (like the solid bra selling Bro Ho Ho for $300), since sales/trades will be more easily traceable with BRO-ID. That'd make this rule a very nice way to get rid of the majority of the ****ty people you encounter in this hobby (those who make alt accounts to increase their chances, and those who only enter sales with aftermarket profit in mind).

You left the other important step.  As soon as they actually win something, about 1/4 of them then immediately post them on /r/mechmarket for triple to quadruple what they paid for them.

I guess so. At less than a post per day average, it'll take me another 3 weeks to get to 100. I understand where Bro is coming from, but I would rather read than post if I don't have anything meaningful to say. I read a lot on this site, but don't have nearly the keyboard collection/experience that most of the high posters have. I think 50 would have been a more reasonable number, but rules are rules.

Edit: digi, missed your post. It's not about being an introvert. I am a member of a golf forum where I have over 10k posts. I'm more knowledgeable on that topic, so I have no problem sharing my opinion. I've owned a mech of some sort for a couple years, but only took up this as a hobby a few months ago.
