Luckily, he's been kind enough to use a k3 mark from the start. Even in his first sale that was the red blue and yellow ones. Just makes finding the **** easier.

What is really disappointing is k3 obviously has some skill at cap making, it is so sad he chose to copy/clone versus innovate. I think he could have really done something worthwhile had he came out with his own cap designs.

IIRC there was confusion about his first batch but there are clear visual indicators that show that the CCs were fakes (besides the fact that they were stamped with his signature instead of CF)

as far as i know they never left veitnam and hasn't done any more since

The color differences are noticeable, taking the HSV + alpha channel color characterization.

Original:
Color (hue):  bluish-grey black
Color (alpha): high opacity.

Copy:
color (hue): reddish coca cola tinted black.
color (alpha): slightly transluscent (noticeable on the (1) edges and in (2) same elevation zone, the original bounces more light).

It has nothing to do with being casuals and everything to do with a sense of entitlement.  They all feel entitled to having one, so they support counterfeits so they can get one.
