Some really sharp setups here, makes my own cluttered chaotic corner of the globe seem very old fashioned.

For some reason I like the contrast between the white walls and the dark wood shelving.

No no it's just an LED strip I got off of amazon that comes with a remote so you can change it to almost any color under the rainbow. That would be sweet if it actually responded to the monitor .

Looks exactly like this:

^ That's a nice setup!

I see you are using the "screw the rack-mount equipment into the coffee table leg" setup ;)

Is that an HP N36L (or later) I see under there?  Nice - one of those is acting as my server.

That rack/table is pretty sweet.  Are the servers just supported by the front tabs, or are there rails for the rear as well?

Thanks It's taken me a while to get it all together, but i'm happy with it all!

^ That's a nice setup!

I see you are using the "screw the rack-mount equipment into the coffee table leg" setup ;)

Is that an HP N36L (or later) I see under there?  Nice - one of those is acting as my server.

Haha yeh, the coffee table was £6, so you really can't go wrong! It's the N40L, so essentially the same with only a slightly high CPU clock speed I believe, I've got a 5 x 2TB RAIDz array running in mine.

lack rack! very nice setup.

Thanks :)

That rack/table is pretty sweet.  Are the servers just supported by the front tabs, or are there rails for the rear as well?

The switches & routers use rackmount brackets on the front, and there's a box underneath currently propping up the rear. I will build a shelf to combat the sag, just waiting for some motivation to do it!

^^ Very nice indeed! I've always had mine in landscape mode, never even thought of going portrait due to the thick bezels on my monitors. What cards are you using to drive 3 monitors like that....

Portrait mode is insane, even more with debezelled monitor, but one of mine is a TN panel, while the other two are IPS panel
in landscape it's fine because the horizontal angle on TN panel are good, but in portrait mode the (originally) vertical angle turn out to be the horizontal angle now, which mess up the screen unless you sit right in front of it.
TV Show, movie are strange to watch when the actor's faces gets right between two monitor (even with bezel correction).
Also, 23" might be a little bit narrow for portrait surround, maybe 27"+ should feel better.

For the cards i run 2 gtx titan

Grainy photo and it's only clean because it was right after I got my desk setup. It's a mess right now.

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Nice, two Titans should last you a while. I've had mine running EyeFinity surround mode since getting 2x HD5870's at launch, got totally hooked on EF gaming. My present setup has 3x HD7970's, so I guess I won't need to upgrade for a while too.

Jesus 2 titan's ? The things I would do for even a titan :( Currently running a 6870 and its doing me pretty well. Considering I bought it used 14 months ago and when it arrived the postie threw it over a 10foot fence into my back garden for no apparent reason.
unless they have some unforeseeable downside (like they're actually made of cream cheese cunningly disguised as ABS)

Super basic. But it has all I need. Actually, my setup at work is a lot more fancy.

Geez, and it still worked after that? You got lucky, I don't think many cards would have survived that......unless it was really well packed.
