Insane lineup tinkering occurring on my team now, this is brutal. WHO DO YOU START WHEN YOU CAN DEPEND ON NO ONE?!

Hey, you and me both. Looks to be a close matchup, with all the unknowns on both sides!

I need 14.42 points out of Randall Cobb and James Jones tomorrow against the Chiefs in order to win against TJ. Seems so reasonable, that worries me in this sick game.
It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.

Hah. Yeah. Last two times I felt comfy going into a game like that, my stars under-performed. G'luck!

It's going to be a big game for me! I've got another league riding on that game too, in front by 15 with Kelce left to play but my opponent has Jamaal Charles to play as well. Again, just close enough to have me worried.

Joking aside they're probably my favourite other team. I also like watching the Raiders play just because I think Carr has a good future ahead of him and Khalil Mack/Aldon Smith is a bull**** combo.

Yeah ****in Charles. In my other league Kelce scored me 10 points to give me like a 23 point lead and then Charles came in an notched up 26 points to knock me off. ****!

Good week for me in this league though, that James Jones/Randall Cobb one two punch is going to be devastating this year :) AND I GOT JONES ON WAIVERS HAHAHA

It has been put to me that maybe we need some rule changes when it comes to waivers.

Currently we have a situation where the waiver priority resets every week depending on league standings. These also change when you get a target on the waiver wire, and you drop to the bottom of the pile. However, in the new proposed rules, the waiver priority would not reset every week, and you would only drop down when you take a player.

I can see the pros and cons for both, but I would like to know what the rest of the league thinks before I make any changes. I am reluctant to make changes in the middle of a season as well, but I don't mind it too much.

I'm used to Yahoo standards which are the latter of what you described. I understand why the NFL FFL resets them every week... you give the people who feel beat down the most some instant gratification with getting first pick on waivers. Problem is that it is very short-sighted. We're playing the long-game here.

I like it the way it is, of course. When you're in the basement, you should be getting whatever picks might help you get some points. Not that there is really anyone to choose from in the waiver list...

My luck is **** this season. My two "top tier" WR this past week scored exactly 0.00 points combined.

So, write-up time.

Week three. Week three. Another loss for the Redskins, this time against Eli "always throws an INT" Manning and them Giants. The QB row continues in Washington, with people looking at drafting a rookie QB in next year's draft... Boy, I would steer well clear of DC for at least another 5 years if you are a QB, we chew them up and spit them out almost as much as Cleveland.

Anyway. I'm going to start with Hottest Bench Warmer this week which goes to pr0ximity. Keenan Allen was targeted 18 times by Phillip Rivers in week three, catching 12 of those for 133 yards and 2TDs, netting him a very, very decent 25.3 points. However, with another fantastic performance from Rishard Matthews scoring ANOTHER 2 TDs, and of course the unstoppable force that is Tom Brady, he didn't even need Allen's points, as he managed to beat the now only win-less team in the league, Carpe Victoriam, 94-79.

A grand total of six teams had players in their starting nine who scored zero points. The unluckiest of those teams was actually JD who had two WRs score zero points. He was actually predicted to win over pr0ximity by a whopping 35 points, however the 25 points missed out on by Terrance Williams and Torrey Smith really cost him.

The Luckiest team of the week I would like to say is me. When you watch the highlights during half time in the Falcons-Cowboys game, and you see Darren Sproles run for an 86 yeard punt return for a TD, only to find you benched him for a 2.6 point scoring CJ Spiller, you get pretty pissed off. Combine that with 1.6 points from Anquan Boldin, and 1.8 points from Matt Jones (you swore you would never take a Redskin, now look what happened) you begin to write off yet another week. Especially with your only consistent QB going down with a knee injury for 4 weeks. However, when Steve "he was a **** in preseason" Smith posts 30 points, Jimmy Graham comes back from the dead with 14.3 points, and Eddie Lacy runs for more than 10 yards, you feel seriously lucky. Even the ridiculous 30 points posted by the Cardinals defence couldn't ruin my day. :)

Bueller managed to post what I think was this week's best all round performance. His top six skill positions all scored more than 13 points, and even Robbie Gould (I saw that drop, kickers are people too!) couldn't drag down the rest of the brobots to a loss. 48.2 points on Monday night meant that he sailed up past TJ at the death, and he now lies in 3rd, only behind the Devonta Meme Cop Men, and Demik's Auto-Drafted Allstars.

Speaking of which, we had a serious clash of the titans, with the afore-mentioned top two battling it out. The recap graph shows a really close race on Monday night, with Demik getting within what looks like fractions of a point to overtaking Hwood, but the gap posted up by AJ Green, Jamaal Charles and the shutout by the Seahawks proved too much for Demik to handle, even with a near 35 point showing from Aaron Rodgers (5 TDs!) and the fantastic veteran Larry Fitzgerald posting 25 of his own. Hwood remains on top, carrying over his win streak over from last season he is now on an 8 game win streak? Someone has to beat this guy... Demik moves up to 2nd on points scored.

R1N3 managed to get his first win of the season against Bernie's Ballers. A serious lack of TDs across the board from Trees' team, plus single digit showings from all but three of his lineup (Gostkowski 2 stronk) mean that even with Tyler Eifert scoring nul point, the return of LeVeon Bell spelled good tidings for R1N3 and Jeremy Maclin having a good day too, he moves off the bottom of the table and is our highest climber this week, up five places to 7th.

Our final matchup was between Hoff and Absyrd. Hoff was slightly luckier than Trees, with four of his lineup going into double digits, and four total TDs, but he saw his perfect start to the season halted by a combination of 2 TDs from Greg Olsen and three from Joseph Randle. Overall a great performance from Absyrd's team, with great numbers across the board. I hate the Giants. Not as much as the Cowboys or the Eagles, but still.

Week four is slowly approaching, and with it comes the start of the bye weeks. Remember to get rid of your Patriots and your Titans this week, because as good as Tom Brady and Keenan Allen are, even they can't score any fantasy points stuck at home on the sofa.
Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?

While my team did pretty bad, I actually was winning by like 4 points, up until Maclin played monday night. If he wouldn't have done so hot it would have been a W over here :P

Keep up these weekly reviews, loving how much work goes into them :thumb: Against the Texans D-line I don't have super high hopes for Freeman but I can't risk benching him again :))

Kickers, people? HA. There is only one guy with a leg in the NFL that I give a **** about and that's Pat McAfee. EVERYONE ELSE CAN GTFO.
