Which one is better?

I've got a question for all of you mechanical keyboards geeks out there...
Since I'm pretty new to it.

I'm considering of getting one of the two following keyboards, and i wanted to ask which one would YOU guys suggest and why.

Option one: Steelseries 6Gv2 Mechanical keyboard black switches




Option two: Ducky Channel Zero DK2108SZ Gaming Red Switch

Because in-case i'm getting the steelseries my plan was then to just get alphanumerical keys with the letter of my language aswell and replace it.

Look at the bigass enter on the steelseries.  The Ducky is still better.

Enter key isn't alphanumerical so it doesn't really matter. But I get your point, having a keyboard that you can't change every single button on it is dumb,
better to have full control of the keyboard.

Also, even if you don't think it's a big deal and wouldn't want to change every cap, it matters to other people, and if you ever find yourself in a situation where you'd like to let that keyboard go for another, or whatever reason, you'll have an easier time with the Ducky than with the Steelseries, for all the reasons people have given you in this thread.

With that being said, if you find the above situation a possibility, then you may want to consider another option than the Ducky, because even those aren't easy to get off your hands at times. A Filco may be a better option, albeit without any backlighting.

Or, if none of this is a concern, get whatever you like the most, since that's all that really matters.

The Enter key, the right shift key, and the \| key next to the right shift key, from what I can see.

So if we ignore the key replacement issue, I mean which keyboard is better for using,
more comfortable, feels good to use and such.

You probably don't...you use it when you shouldn't...so for example, when you're typing out 2015 are you taking your right hand off the keyboard and moving it to the numberpad?

The only people that need a numberpad are ones that are doing heavy spreadsheet/number crunching stuff....

But for everyone else, TKL is just a superior format and provides a better mouse position...

The reason you dislike that idea is because you aren't used to it...but you'll eventually get there..you just don't realize it yet..

Unless you get some kind of RSI, which seriously isn't everyone - probably not even most, I don't think that matters at all. At most all you are doing is removing a very small amount of cardio by no longer moving the right hand to the numpad. So what?

If you do get a TKL keyboard and find that you need a number pad, you can always get a separate numpad.

The Ducky Zero is the better board of the two. But it uses red switches, if you're light handed you may like the significantly lighter feel compared to MX Blacks. If you're heavy handed, I'd recommend the blacks over the reds.

Neither have I Oo. UT 99 control layout, always.
