Got mine built. Typing on it right now  :D

Just need to play about with the firmware tool to get the layout I want, but overall I'm very impressed.

Downside to the Alu bottom skin is that almost no light gets into the duck feet  :(

Lil preview of my build:

Just saw your full post on /mk so I can safely say you should have some RGBs to solder on specifically for the feet. That would be why you don't have any color in them! Take a look:

I don't know what I'm looking at regarding the LEDs for the feet.

See where it says "DUCK FEET" by the edge there? That is a solder pad for the surface mount RGBs. They sit in the hole of the duck feet to light up the acrylic inserts

Double check the 'Default Layer' selection. If you are like me you are editing 'Layer 0', but your default layer is set to 'Layer 2'... The program seems to swtich that setting by itself, and very frequently

Yeah, i checked that, no luck. cant change anything. Did you have to flash any firmware first?

Nope, sorry, pretty much 'just worked' aside from the mentioned issue with the default layer.

Still cant change any keymaping with the gui

A few things.

1. Make sure you "connect" to the board before changing things.

2. Make sure you Apply All when finished.

3. Make sure the correct default layer is selected.

will it connect now or not even? if it connects, click the switch you want to program on your keyboard then click with the mouse on the lower keyboard what you want to map it to be, then to save changes do Update > All, then disconnect. should see something happen. if thats not working how far can you get before things stop working?

It says Connected, but pressing a key on the keyboard doesn't change the selected key in the gui, I tried manually changing something and nothing. Tried changing the RGB color to a single color and nothing. Tried running jigon in compatibility mode, admin etc. Going to try it on a different computer when I get out of work later.

No Extra pads for soldering RGB LEDs for me even though I preceded Duck Feet but I guess it has to do with not having the aluminum skin bottom.

Actually the RGB pad for duckfeet is not in the original PCBs. I made just little more(when I got 100pcs of original PCB already made).
So I just try to include (DuckFeet's RGB pad) to whom want the Alu Bottom. - because the RGB light does not go through the Alu plate.
Sorry for all but please think who got the extra x2 RGB is just a lucky guys.

It's M3, 18mm ~ 20mm will be OK for the screw on the top.

Does anyone know how do you install the frosted acrylic parts of the duck feet? They just fall out of mine so I am assuming I need to stick some double sided tape or something? There were 4 pan-head screws included in the feet package in addition to the countersunk ones for the aluminum feet that I thought might be used to attach the acrylic but I don't see anywhere to use them.

Finally able to make some changes using JigOn on a computer that didn't have windows 10 (couldn't get comparability modes to get it to communicate with the board on 10)
I have 5 rgb LED's that cannot display certain colors.
All White- RGB  4, 12, 14 are yellow, RGB 8, 15 is green
All Blue -  RGB 8, 4, 12, 14, 15 are off, no light at all
All Red - RGB 15 is off, no light at all
All Yellow - RGB 8, 15 is green

switch position for B is also not working, tried 3 different brand new switches, none worked in this pcb, worked on a different keyboard.

Zealios 65g, lubed stabs, Carbon, Custom color matched Bad News Ent and Lucky Cat :)  :thumb: :thumb:

Thanks leeku! This was a very straightforward kit to assemble, was fun to build for sure! JigOn is a little frustrating at first (mainly for the case lighting options) but the LEDS on the bottom are super bright thats for sure! 100% in on the 75% when you run it!

Does anyone know if there is any way to make it so that the macros are slower?
At my job we use Lotus Notes as our email application, and I was going to set up macro's to pre-fill certain information in emails I send out (different macro for each formality)

Currently I have this macro set up
MACRO REC
[C|m|C}            [S|h|S}ello ,

[S|t|S}hanks,
[S|d|S}avis[up][up][up]
DONE

What this does is that it creates a new email tabs into the body (4 tabs) then types that message, however it's too fast for the application, sometimes it types the message in the BCC field, other times it types it in the subject field, and sometimes it works as intended, the only thing I can think that would cause this is the fact that it's pressing tab too fast for lotus notes to keep up.

Let me keep that for next FW releae...

Also MX-Lock and in-switch LED brightness control please! Much thanks. ;)

I'm not at my PC and I may be misunderstanding but if you're saying turn the switch LEDs brightness up and down via the switches then last I checked there was an option to bind keys to led brightness up and down which I believe was for switch LEDs

You can only control the brightness of the RGB LEDs.

In-switch LED is controlled by the resistors :X. Not sure about Mx-lock but I think that as well

It's a pain swapping resistors every time you change LEDs, especially since I used sip sockets. :(

So I finally got the board and got it all soldered up. Everything works great except for the Up arrow. At first I thought it was a switch issue so I desoldered and soldered a new switch on but it still doesn't work. Is there anything else I can do to try and fix it? Or is all hope lost?
