Not sure if this was already discussed but is there a particular reason Caps Lock is the only icon modifier?

Caps is either icon or text, there is no icon + text.


And I just realized that I made two small mistakes in my mockup.  They should now be fixed

That's unfortunate. The non-GMK renders show a text Caps Lock which is why I never spoke up. I apologize.

Did no one complain already about the "handbag" icon on caps lock? I thought loads of people hate that. Personally, I prefer text only on caps lock.

I think most people didn't speak up because some renders did not have the icon legend. Myself being one of those people, I did not notice until the GMK renders.

It's unfortunate it cannot be changed but it's not a huge deal to me.

I sent an email to the vendor I've been working with, but, like I said, it may be too late at this time.  This is why it's essential that people voice concerns early.

Wait, the renders that were most recently posted have text for caps lock. Is the set actually going to run with the symbol instead? I never noticed before but text for all modifiers would probably be best. Just wondering, how come it is too late to change now if the set hasn't even been made or paid for?

Nope.  Everyone has different taste, that's why I wanted built in options for accent keys or to keep it stock.

It's far far cheaper to do something like that with a thin SP set.  SP also has much lower MOQs that facilitate mod packs.

SP has far more accommodations for different layouts than GMK does. GMK restricts their caps mainly to standard keyboards, whereas the more non-standard keyboards they accommodate still are far more mass-produced than custom kits.
