Those keys are awesome! If I could buy enough I would fill my entire keyboard with the 3 colored skulls! ( at $24 a keycap it would cost $2,520, so I think it will have to wait a little while :)
Keyboards:
Das Keyboard Ultimate ( Blue switches, blank )
IBM \'91 Model M White.

You're not the only one. I certainly have and I 'd guess that others have too.

Now that I have checked out my internet download and upload speed, perhaps that's a bigger problem. But seeing as poeple with far, far faster speeds then I have some site delays I guess that's a bad excuse on my part.
I have noticed this past half week that it has been a little better though, maybe? =)

To Dr.Pepper
You should get a tenkeyless then ;)

Test-Sample #J11TG-s5A has landed in Europe.

Clickclack calls these "crude prototype", he must clearly be smoking something... must be from all that plastic fumes! These are some of the highest quality and most sexy looking keys I have ever seen. That is really all I can say now, I am resisting hard not to unzip my pants.

I got some more but will wait for better shots with illuminated keys within the upcoming days. I'm still working on getting the white LEDs to work. This should be enough to get everyone excited anew in the meantime.

That looks like a very interesting option for my ducky o_O;

However click clack needs to do some testing so that the brightness isn't too annoying. If it had a dim glow, then i'd be fine with that.

Anyways click clack i pmed you with some interesting ideas i could use your help with.

brightness of the LEDs wouldn't be something that clickclack could control... that would be up to you :P  he doesn't know what LEDs you have in your board, or what board you even own.  If you need to adjust the brightness of the LED, look into replacing the LED, or consider taking off the keycap, and covering the LED in Sharpie, etc.

How well do those clear keys take (acid) dye? (Rit/etc)  Being able to do custom colored backlit cherry keys would be perfect xD

I wonder how well imprecise screening works with Rit. I doubt you could screen something like negative letters (dye all of the key except the letter, basically tg3 style keys, minus the sublimation part) on very well at home, but maybe some less defined patterns... must google. I realize that Rit or something similar probably won't be opaque even with most darker colors, but that's actually ideal in some ways. Assuming you don't end up with the dyed part looking mottled when illuminated, if translucent.

claaaaack, any cost estimate on the plain topped clear cherry stemmed keys, in small (1-5) or small bulk (20-50) orders? =O ~$2-5 per key @~30 keys? Or closer to $10+?

Hi =)
My keys (especially the clear ones) do not take dye well. Screening can work "ok" with dyes but generally look a bit blurry. Any dye that you would use indeed would be very translucent, and likely would look very mottled.

I don't know what the prices for those keys would be like until I do a preproduction test run of them.

Thanks for your interest =)

You guys need to relax :p it's one guy doing something for the community, not some 50 man operation that does nothing but keycaps.  Let him breathe and complete what he already has in line before inundating him with requests.  Besides, you're screwing the supply/demand curves and youll drive up prices :p

Give this man a beer!

I just like this... some wierd way, but still...
When I get my Tenkeyless Filco I might buy one (many) of these.

Yeah I kinda liked that one too. But outside of a commission (which I don't have time for atm) I don't know if that would make it into some kind of limited production.

Are custom keys with the little nubs possible? Such as the ones normally found on the [F] and [J] keys. I'd love and [H] with nub keys for my Dvorak layouts. Putting nubs on the [W] key for WASD (or in my case it would be the [,] key) would be cool too... make sure you're never one-row-off when playing an FPS again.

clickclack do you think it would be possible to do a triple shot key of the black mage? The detail maybe too fine, but if you think it could be done I might try and get a small order of 50 together.

Black key with blue and yellow shots.
