My first memory of KK was actually what got me in to artisans after initially thinking they were pretty pointless.

Someone at work got hold of a watermelon snackey and I was blown away by how cool it looked. My wallet and sanity hated me since then.

Later on I took a break from keyboard stuff to concentrate on getting married and buying a house, then when I came back everyone was talking about some GAF dude...

Me expecting this thread to be locked really says something about how this last month of Clack Happens has changed me.

Edit for giveaway
My most memorable moments with GAF and/KK have been learning about and getting to appreciate some cool things outside of the MK hobby, most notably learning from Koala that Mezcal is delicious and Krink Paint Markers are amazing.

In addition to that, getting to see the art in resin casting performed at such a high level by GAF made my own artisan journey all the more fruitful.

Stay classy you guys.

One of my most favorite moments in the hobby was finally completing the Kosmo v2 menu set. It took over 6 months of scouring mechmarket and a ton of back and forth with a few owners to work out some key trades. I was so elated when my Apollo v2 finally came in the mail to complete the set. The Kosmos are by far my most favorite sculpt!

The thing that really blew me away about my first GAF cap was the insane amount of detail in the sculpt. It really doesn't come across in pictures but man when you hold one you really get a sense for the quality.

The first win was the farewell TB gaffle and before this, I have only seen GAF artisan keycaps theough various photos. Even through photos, the small little details was insanely well though out and the amount ertails in one sculpt was really insane. What blew my mind was when I received my first TypeBeast and the amount of details and colors there were on the sculpt. Even though it was tempting to collect all other colorways, I became appreciative that I was able to win a gaffle in the first place. Awesome sculpt, color, and quality!

I don't own any GAF yet, but my first impression when I saw the Typebeast was that artisan keycap craftsmanship had leveled up.  I'm looking forward to seeing how far they can be taken, by you or by the next generations that you inspire!

Winning my first GAFfle before NorCal '17 was very cool. I remember being amazed at the large archive you and Koala. At the after party BBQ it was so nice to be able to have a conversation about artisans in general. It was informative and highlighted the difficulties of working in resin.

I received my first KK Meowcap v3 (LeNoir) shortly after my all black childhood cat, Shogun, passed. It constantly reminds me of that weird, snuggly beast who liked to lick my hair, and as such it has become a very meaningful cap in my collection.

Unfortunately, I haven't had the opportunity to win or own GAF, but the first time I saw one, I couldn't understand how it wasn't painted or manufactured by some other process. They looked almost too clean. Still always impressed to this day.

My most memorable moment was entering for KeyKollectiv's first Snackeys sale, the style of the caps was so appealing and really helped to show what was possible with resin casting so long ago. Was definitely a nervous moment trying to enter as fast as possible... Don't have the fruit basket anymore unfortunately but the work of both KK and GAF is still amazing (and improving) to this day!

Only have one GAF cap now but hope to increase that in the future :)
