i've pretty much decided that in the end, linear switches work best with my ergodox after running my dox with browns, clears, ergo clears, blues, blues with 45gkorean springs, whites, and whites with 62g springs. I am sticking to my Lubed MX Red Ergodox--which is the first ergo dox i have built out of 3. and currently the only one fully assembled right now, the other 2 im messing with and selling 1.
current iteration of my
ever changing ergodox
I came up with a ghetto way to get a countersink look as you see
i got these 8mm long standoff cylinders, it is M2 thread on the inside and exactly 3mm on the outside allowing it to fit, with some force, into the ergodox M3 holes. I used countersunk M2x8mm screws
the result is almost countersunk on both ends, i added rubber bumpers
here is the thing i would advise though if you do this, watch out how tight you do it because i ended up cracking one corner of my case
case has another flaw though, im waiting for replacement layers from MOZ still, the layers arent cut correctly so they aren't flush and i had to file out the holes to get the case together. part of the case is flush, other parts are not
i dont think i had recut the layers i cracked though
oh well /update
