I don't watch vtubers, but it doesn't seem like the keyboard was inspired by a character. Could you explain how it's linked to the vtuber? Thanks.
Welcome to the weeb side of the hobby - where loose associations with something 'kawaii' can be used to sell any combination of design schemes, colors, etc, regardless of how strong/poor the actual design is without the added association.
Bit of a hot take there mr. drama hooker, isn't that the point of the hobby? To express your designs in a variety of ways? If you don't care for the inspiration, whether strong/loose/whatever, then that's your opinion. If the design is good or bad, then you can point that out specifically, but you're complaining about a personal opinion of 'the weeb side of the hobby' and not the board itself.

Pretty sure I ended up being right about those switches... Might have to look it up again to remind myself.

I don't care for the inspiration - That's why I shared my opinion.

That would be called 'extrapolation.' Lots of keyboards and keycap sets that are designed around "weeb" things tend to focus on stuffing as much thematic related content into as little space as possible without regards for the actual product *or* taking simple color schemes and claiming it is related to x or y or z character without much more effort, though that is much more prevalent with keycap sets. I think this board specifically is decently well designed and has many points of interest - but its so focused on selling that its related to this character/person that it both doesn't market it's strengths and cuts out a bunch of people who are turned off of the theme.
