Hi friends of Geekhack,this is will from hance industry. It's my first time to introduce myself in this place， my major job is auto design since 2013，participated in servel projects in SAIC，BMW，GM…About 5 years ago, i tried to make some keyboard models in my spare time, and cooperated with a keyboard design studio for servral years。In this journey, I usually have some personal views about design, products, services …So I decided to come to the stage from behind the scenes , so that i can do some works more independently.

The first personal project is really important，so i spent a lot of time to do some sketches，design moodboards， quick 3d models and renderings，to help me confirm the ”Hance“ style.it will set the direction for us. I think Sela70 has reached the target.

From the top view,the top case is clean without any feature.We can see a implict “output mold” behind the keyborad.And I tried to design some different light shapes.

From the side view and back view, we can see the keyboard is not combined by some “boxes”with parallel lines，i use some space even twist surface and curves with different angles all around for a satisfied proportion and stance，it‘s common in auto design but really difficult for CNC the metal，sela 70 will cost almost double time with a four-axis machine。

What's the typing sound like when you use the adjustable feet. I feel like the separation between table and keyboard could cause a problem?

There is almost no difference as there is also a layer of silicone padding under the feet that touches your table nicely

All colors have been updated, now sela is available in 8 colors (silver/black/grey/pink/dark purple/dark blue/linen/light green)

Looks really interesting, especially with the design but there are a couple things I would like to point out/ask. First, from a video of the board that I found, The usb cable stills shows a bit of the metal part when plugged in which to me looks worse than not being able to see it, it's not a huge issue but I would like to see this fixed especially for what I'm assuming to be a expensive price for this.

Two more things, one do you know what the general price bracket you think it will be in? and also are there any sound tests out of this board without foam, as I have a feeling the flex cuts in the PCB, combined with the thinner PCB will make it sound thinner than it could be?

Really like the unique design here, hope the board turns out good.

Everyone wants everyone in separate discords. I'm almost at the point I need to make a dedicated keyboard discord account. I'm in 27 different discords, and if I weren't volunteering for many of them I'd have purged them awhile ago.

Mailing lists are really low maintenance, especially considering what effort has to go into managing a discord with any kind of efficiency.

This may depend on the USB cable, some may seem a bit longer than others.We will send samples to suppliers as soon as possible.If you choose the coating color of matrix lab, the price may be slightly higher,but not more than 400$
