Q&A Why black legends over white?
Black legends are much more visible than white on such a bright base color. I initially thought about metallic silver legends but they were going to be really hard to see.Can we get -insert SEA vendor-?
Kibou will be servicing this area since they have priority for being the SEA vendor for GMK CYL Dragon Witch. Can we get child kits for this set?
Due to the nature of fluorescent/neon colors, I will not be offering child kits for GMK Flare. Last thing I want are the child kits being improperly stored and turning out to be a different shade to the base kit when you purchase them from any of the vendors. How will the fluorescent/neon color change over time? Will it be accelerated with direct sunlight?
RAL 2005 will probably bleach and the vibrancy will dull over time. This is the same with any other fluorescent and neon color product whether it is neon lights, paint, or clothes.
The science behind fluorescent and neon colors getting so bright is that they absorb the light's energy and it becomes energetically unstable. UV light from direct sunlight will accelerate the degradation of the color and patina the keycaps. Even visible light will degrade the color but to a much lesser extent to UV light.
So if you see the keycaps in several years, it may well look different but it is the property of this RAL 2005 color.
Neue legends please.
No. Long answer, I will not be using Neue legends as the majority of people want this with Cherry legends and so do I.International kit or UK ISO?
I currently do not expect these to meet the 100 unit MOQs and also please refer to the answer regarding child kits above. The sample keycap isn't as vibrant as the renders!
The sample key was taken in a cloudy overcast. Unfortunately, it is nearly impossible to photograph neon/fluorescent colors. A camera is shooting in RGB and is using a limited version of that since it can only capture so many colors within those pixels regardless of how many megapixels a camera has. A camera can't see as many colors as our eyes can. Even if a camera that saves wide gamut or alternative palette files is used, it would not help either since we view the images on more limited sRGB monitors. Also please reference the comparison photo that is located in page 2 of this IC thread.
