intro

Dimensional is a keyset with APL sublegends loosely inspired by the Space Cadet keyboard. In addition to the sublegends, Dimensional also features certain Cadet legends and their corresponding icons. The name Dimensional refers to how the arrays that the APL language is built on involve dimensions and how the space in space cadet deals with a “dimension” outside earth.



kitting



The base kit supports the majority of common keyboard layouts as well as including terminal ISO, 4-key 40s, and some minibars. Compatible layouts include 60, 65, 75, TKL, Fullsize, certain JD40 arrangements, certain Minivan arrangements, and others.



The spacebar kit adds support for some less conventional spacebar sizes as well as including accented versions of the base kit spacebars. When paired with the base kit, compatible layouts include HHKB, certain 40s that make use of the new spacebars, and others.

Looks nice! I do think the 1u R4 keys look a little too busy with the sub legends though. GLWIC :thumb:

I think some of the bottom row keys look a little too busy with the illustrations being very close to text, but this is a rad project. Will be watching it closely!

Hey everyone,first of all thank you very much for the kind words.

Hali and I are 100% going to fix some of those r4 mods (1u super, 1.25u control, and the 1u hyper key is what I assume you guys are referring to).

edit: going to resize r4 mods entirely for consistency.

As for novelties, we felt that the set was sort of the "novelty" itself but we would not be against adding a couple of novelty 1u's and such to the base itself. Not too sure about a seperate novelty kit but if the interest is there then that is also something we would gladly do!

The alignment of the legends on the renders look a little too close to the bottom, so hopefully there'll be double-checking alignment of them by the time production rolls around!

Will be fixing  this as well, most likely going to move all "bottom" subs up 1mm-ish and make alignment more consistent overall. Should have updated kit renders by the end of next week as more feedback comes in!

Once vendors are final I will leave it up to them if they think it would be best to run a deskmat with the set. (assuming enough interest is  also present)  :thumb:
